I made a new course. It's hard. Like, really hard.


Quicksand Vortex Challenge: 0B4B-0000-0211-6BDA

This is a short timed-survival stage. By short, I mean it's basically one full vertical room plus some extra fluff. While not my original intent, I think I managed to make it Nintendo hard. I even put "Challenge" in the name to indicate that this is meant to be difficult. Admittedly, it is so difficult that it took me a day to beat it myself, and I ended up making some parts of it easier as a result. I also added in a couple of helpful secrets, though they might not help you as much as you'd think. So, think you have what it takes to beat it?



Also, I'm going to be updating my Coro Coro Castle course to take advantage of new features, so here are some statistics of the previous version:

I don't know if this matters to anyone or not, but the IRC channel #MarioMaker has now been hostilely taken over by yours truly, as the original channel founder has either disappeared or abandoned the community.

We are in the process of setting up either a competition or a collab. Assume if there is a competition, there will be no reward other than bragging rights.

I made a silly endurance level. It's like a longer version of SMB3's final boss but with more annoying things trying to kill you. It's at 0% clear rate and I want someone to clear it already, so be the first!!







No, this isn't the height of level design. I was just trying to see how low a clear rate I could get, and I guess going for this endurance type level helped I thought it was fun to dodge obstacles like that, but some people will find it tedious / frustrating!
