This is some serious news.

I appreciate their intent, as I am quite sensitive to people smoking and I avoid any smoke when possible. However, it will infuriate those who believe smoking is a right and find their cigarette availability at odds. I'm surprised they did it earlier, honestly.

I've heard a lot about this. Apparently some CVSs, at least around here, are selling the rest of their stock at less than the state required minimum price. Everyone keeps telling me to go there to get my smokes.

But I don't think that CVS not selling them anymore will really infuriate too many people. I've never been to one to get smokes; I always just go to the gas station. And, at least around here, there seems to be plenty of different places you can still get them. As long as Wal*Mart keeps selling them (albeit overprices) so the people who say it's their "one stop shop" can still get them, I don't see it being a ruckus.
