A lot of students around here are missing their stuff; it's really awful. I feel stressed enough as it is working on my schedule while going to classes and work; I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to have to deal with not having my stuff either!

I'd imagine that one guy who got a hold of the owner would have been asked to give the DC CRA people the contact info to reach the owner of that 'company'. Or otherwise the warehouse location so they could recover the property of the people missing it.

I never got to go home for the Summer when I was in College, so this wasn't a concern.

Then again, if I HAD gone home for the summer, I would be tempted to take my stuff with me... heh.

I've always taken my stuff with me. Not because I didn't trust those storage services, and instead because I don't really own that much stuff and it's cheaper to just take everything.

I follow Lone Star's golden rule: Take only what you need to survive. Though, depending on where you're going, and how you're bringing your stuff there, sometimes it's a challenge to pack enough.
