I think that this zlib1.dll should be put on system32 folder on windows,no the emulator,but still i'm not sure,i think it also depends on the OS you're using


the zlib1 dll should be located in the main epsxe folder(along with the exe,and other files and folders)
i can send you a working epsxe build if you want MUGEN-tan
EDIT:EternalSoft,you should make an x6 proto thread for findings that haven't been discussed yet,and there's a thread for the stage select gameshark codes of the proto as well.

no techniques for zero so far?
how are zero's techniques in the final activated?
and anything in regards to giga attacks?(nova strike,for example)
anyways, you did some pretty good work on the proto, enough to make a couple more videos.
Hope all these findings get to the tcrf page,this proto is like the Rockman 7 Sample except even better!

i tried to activate zero's weapons in the final rockmanx5 version,and they are the same as X's unfortunately...
Also for giga attacks i couldnt find anything relating to them unfortunately too...

what do you mean? you enable them via the 255 byte? which in the case of the proto,instead enables black zero from x4?

i mean,the weapon activator for x is the same as zero's,but none of the button combinations i tried worked for zero,nor changing weapons work on the proto

there's always the chance there's some hidden sprites for the techs. on the VRAM or maybe at this point,his techniques activated differently(maybe like X4? after all,this proto has a boatload of X4 content)

However, what BIOS should I use for the MMX5Beta? And how do I activate GameShark codes?
I would also like to know how I can change the window setting, because I don't want to play in fullscreen mode.

these are cheat engine addresses(download cheat engine,open the epsxe process when it starts up via cheat engine,and add the addresses manually),you can change the window settings in the video option in configuration and you can find BIOS in the internet if you need them(american one works,i believe)

Man,BIOS are the files from an original PSX console,but as most people or dont own one anymore or dont wanna waste time dumping the BIOS from the original console,they just download from some random site,use any if you find one,to activate gameshark codes,you can serch in the internet for the PEC plugin for ePSXe,(Remember that the codes i posted here arent transformed for gameshark,they were made on Cheat Engine,a special program that has nothing to do with PSX emulation)also for full screen,you can try Alt+Enter,but you may find it better to configure the plugin on the emulator itself,under Config>Video>Config,hope it helped.

EDIT:I found the checkpoint modifier

And here's what i found!
In this area its slow as it was before and keeps glitching,and when u go tru the door you die again


Some random area with a checkpoint,but can't pass to other areas as well


Another area that is same as above


That area with 2 paths on the original x4,see next shots to see the end of the paths


When you get down,there's this area but thats it,cant go further again,also theres just this little piece of platform from the original level


Again you will die after the door here,but also to note,the glitched door shows some of the blue Ride armor's sprite from X4


And just before the boss,you can enter the boss door but will die once again just after


If adjusted,the checkpoint for the bosses for x4 will fix the camera issue here but thats it,
Also to note,i used another adress/value to warp to the boss rooms but they dont seem to exist anymore here


And the last one,this actually is checkpoint 2 not 1 (0(zero) being the first in every level)because 1 would crash the game in black screen,its just before colonel in x4 but will kill you when you enter the door also


And thats it,nothing found on other areas like the pegasus stage.

i want to correct a small statement i made: the enigma/shuttle fire song is present in this proto,and i thought it was the same as the final,however,upon close inspection,it's actually slightly different than the final(tone of the instruments and i think a missing instrument on the proto),it's still very close to the final,though.

I found a value that changes the boss level shown on the screen and also another value for his max health near it,but i don't know how to know if his level really increased,like,if i change his level like this that he will do a new move,do you know any diferent moves by level depending on the boss so i can check if its right?

EDIT:also,i've started to hack that x4 trial version,and found some pretty neat stuff,if you want i can make another topic

i've found the page,but it doesn't list the Lv.04 attacks. I don't know,that's weird,might have been edited out(or it might have been another site,which i can't find now).

i dont even remember if i tried,but if you want to search,i had already posted the code above the screens when i found it

Right now im actually hacking into that x4's trial/proto/demo,wich has some pretty neat stuff

Also the enemy modifier code,seems to be impossible for me,i found normal enemy health and some other values that changed their behavior or made them glitch,also,these numbers change when the enemies disapear from the screen,so,it doesnt seems i can hack the enemy modifier,this will need a better hacker
