I am not a number...I'm a font.

Edit:
It's a derivative of Albertus.

I only use it for fun, not for serious stuff. For serious stuff, I use whatever is easy to read I guess.

Verdana, 10 pt.

For some reason I just like this over other fonts. It's not really stylish so I can use it as a general font as I feel like it, yet it's not as bland and boring as Times New Roman.

I wrote my poetry in it all the time.

^ I liked Verdana for high school writing assignments because for some reason it took up way more page space than other fonts (Tahoma was a close second)

Actually, I was a big fan of Consolas back when I first got into game file exploration. It's a monospace programming font by Microsoft, one of their first to take advantage of subpixel hinting IIRC. For some reason my eyes were really sensitive back then, so this was a godsend and it looked so smooooooth.

Woah, this topic is old. A year later and I come in to talk about Frutiger only to discover I already did a year ago. Crazy.

Anyway, my adoration for Frutiger lives on. Adrian Frutiger was a genius, responsible for three of the most important fonts of all time: Avenir, his self-titled Frutiger, and Univers. How could you hate him?

I'm a fan of monospaced fonts when typing up things for myself

from my formatting here it's pretty easy to tell
I'm somewhat particular when it comes to formatting

and having everything line up is something that I like to see

but then also I don't want it looking pixely that's too much

I kind of like pixel fonts, like the kind you see on some Tumblr layouts. They're cute. That said, they're not always especially practical (for, like, ANYTHING), especially if they're small.

...Come to think of it, I'm not entirely sure what the font on my own Tumblr is...I like it, though. Might try to figure out how to size it up a tiny bit (like, just one size) to make it slightly less eyestrain-y, though.

I like the font I'm using right now, but I remembered when I was really young whenever I see the Comic Sans MS on something, I be like "OMG THATS THE KIND OF LETTERS WE USED IN KINDERGARDEN"

So yeah .-.

Well, as for Latin fonts I usually just use Calibri or Tahoma and in general I'm pretty mellow about different fonts. I also don't quite hate Comic Sans, either. But for Chinese I would say my favorite font would be a cursive font I found ages ago called Jianying Bixingshu and it's actually really pretty. I don't usually use it for much since I can't hand in papers in it, and if the font size is too small it's really hard to read (this is not a problem with non-cursive fonts).

Sometimes I write poems or fun things in Chinese and it's always fun to use this font and set the text direction to downwards. (the text on the right is read starting from the right column, reading each column downwards before moving leftwards to the next column) The text on the right in script is as follows:

两三年之前就不可以把美国同性婚姻称为一种潮流,但现在看来美国每一个州都即将把同性婚姻合法化。如今快速进步的潮流要追溯到何事件呢?去年六月美国联邦政府最高法院

Favourite monospaced font (bitmap): Fixed 6x13 (X default bitmap)
Favourite monospaced font (vector): Consolas
Favourite sans-serif font: Calibri, with Droid Sans Normal 400 as a close second
Favourite serif font: Garamond

The official font of the meta-project I'm eternally working on and wishing I could go exactly where I want to with is RNS Serial.

*Courier New
*Microsoft Sans Serif
*Impact
*Segoe UI
*Awesome (the one used on AcmlmBoard text)

I like Times New Roman but not as a webdesign interface, I don't know why the CSS/HTML bloke who designed it said Times New Roman should be the default font, that's being a big prick.

It probably made sense back then, since Times New Roman was a very popular font, but nowadays it just makes everything look weird.

What? No it doesn't, at least not on Opera.

As for my favorite fonts: Source Sans Pro, Aliquam, Corbel, cinecaption, TW Cen MT.
Monospaced: Lucida Sans Typewriter, BPmono.
Serif: Cambria.

Then maybe stop using that "shite-arsed browser" as you put it, instead of spending all your time reporting the problems it's causing as if they were caused by us?

Also, 'Awesome' is called Arial

I fell across a font named Jura on some webpage and fell in love with it. Definitely going to use it for the K64 homepage whenever I make that.

saxMono is also a nice fixed-width font. Once I had another nice fixed-width font but didn't end up keeping it, some things rendered it as if it was variable-width.

I guess I can update the list.

For starters, anti-aliasing sucks. It's one of the first things I disable.

Anyway, any "standard" font like Arial or Verdana that is easily readable works for me.

Fixedsys however never gets old, even though I never bothered to check a better alternative.

I never said it was shite-arsed (note it's in quotes) and I KNOW it's nothing to do with other users.

Nothing else likes to work on my machine, Jul doesn't seem to load at all in Firefox 39.0.3 and Opera 30, explaining why. And I am never installing that truly shite-arsed crap called Chrome.

(didn't realise that Awesome = Arial, another proof of my utter cuntcracy)

Although I understand that they aren't always the most practical fonts, I really enjoy the look of geometric fonts like Futura.

For more general-purpose use, I'm a fan of Helvetica and Tahoma, although I'm not opposed to Verdana.

For coding, I like to use Consolas. I'm less picky as long as it's monospaced, though.

I've also used Courier New a lot for some of my old creative projects, although I honestly don't like it very much now. If I ever need to use a slab serif font again, I'd probably use something like Rockwell instead.

No love for Trebuchet MS?

I actually have no idea why it's my favorite font. Probably dates back to nostalgia of being amazed by newer computers that could run Windows XP back when I was stuck on 95.

Aside from that, Arial and Lucida Grande are pretty nice fonts, and I kinda miss the old Gingerbread-era Droid Sans.

I don't like Helvetica. (for whatever reason)
