Started off with Windows 2000 SP4, back in probably 2006 or so. Upgraded to XP in '08, but tried to make it as 2000-like as possible. Then in 2010, I had 7 for a few months before I got some bad viruses and Dad, getting sick of me getting viruses from downloading off doperoms, put Mandriva 2010 on that computer instead. I enjoyed using it a lot, and it's why I still prefer MATE to this day. There was also a laptop I had that I played around with VMs on. 95, 3.1, DOS. All three I played around with a lot.
That computer died and the laptop wasn't really good enough so I ended up getting a hand-me-down real laptop, though it wasn't very good, it was a Lenovo G555 that ended up literally melting on me and dying. To this day I still really don't trust Lenovo products. It had Windows 7 at first, and then Ubuntu 9.04 just for fun, and then back to W7.
But yeah, it died in 2014, so I got another laptop for my 15th birthday and just had to make do with the netbook until then. The new laptop had Windows 8.1 that my dad pre-installed Classic Shell on, which is probably why I don't hate 8.x like the rest of the Internet did. I ended up installing Vista on it to try it out, and realized I actually like Vista now that hardware caught up to it.
When that laptop started getting too many problems to keep going (the keyboard half broke and the touchpad just didn't work at all), I ended up getting another desktop, which is my main computer when I'm not moving. It used to have Windows 7 on it, I wiped it and installed Slackware for a while, but that ended up getting replaced later on. I had ReactOS 0.4.13 installed on hard drive #3, but it refused to boot, so I ended up just wiping that drive and using it for storage instead.
On my current laptop, I used to have NT 3.51 installed on a 6 GB partition alongside 2000 SP4, and I really liked it, but the partition got corrupted so I had to reformat. Actually, the whole disk corrupted for some reason, so I just had to start over. First with Whistler 2419 but that didn't work, so then XP and Bionicpup, but eventually I got kinda bored with XP and wanted an OS that could run the internet that wasn't the apparently slow and bloated Puppy. It's still technically installed but I'm just verifying I backed up my home folder away from formatting the partition and using it for storage, or alternatively a new XP install. I'm also wanting to get 3.51 installed again.
