The administration (as well as a few users) have decided that you're creepy/weird enough that it's time to activate the sploded clause.

Before that, I've had a computer with Windows XP - which I still own to this day and occasionally boot up for nostalgia reasons, because it is probably one of my favourite operating systems to use, although I use the Classic theme over Luna.

Windows 2000 is rock-solid, you should give it a try. There's a way of running many Windows XP applications on it, too, providing you have the latest service pack and do some unofficial patching.

Like I said, Vista itself hasn't managed to offend me yet. Not on that computer, anyways.

I prefer Luna, or Royale, even.
Classic is neat, though

I forgot to mention, I didn't ditch 2000... So, my parents used to un-plug the power supply to keep me from staying up late or whatever. Well, I found this out before not knowing much about this stuff. So, I had a CN Game Creator game freeze the computer on me. I first used Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but ofc, I didn't know about task manager, either. Or holding the power button... so... you can guess what I did? Yeah, either corrupted the hard drive or fried the CPU, not sure which. I still have the hard drive, but have yet to attempt copying its contents, cuz I am a victim of circumstance and life screws me out of any shot at it. (actually, I still have the whole computer, disassembled completely)

I don't have a problem with 2000 at all. Mine just died...

  • Windows for Workgroups 3.11 running on top of MS-DOS 6.22 (1994-1997)

  • Windows 95 (1997-1999)

  • Windows 98 (1999-2001)*

  • Windows ME (2001-2004)

  • Windows XP (November 2001-August 2011)

  • Windows 7 (August 2011-August 2015)

  • Windows 10 (August 2015-February 2016)

  • Windows 7/Windows 8.1 constant switching around because adopting Windows 10 early was a bad experience and I couldn't commit to one version (February 2016-December 2017)

  • Puppy Linux because my hard drive died (September 2016)

  • Windows 7 on desktop, Windows 10 on laptop (December 2017-present)

i think i've finally settled into a stable OS setup, maybe

OSes i've played around with in VMs or dual boots but never used as my main: Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows Vista, Red Hat/Fedora Linux, Mandrake/Mandriva Linux, FreeBSD, Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu, Arch Linux, Mac OS... 9?, Mac OS X

oh, and Android on my phone

*the only reason my family even upgraded to Windows 98 was so we could play Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. what a mistake that was

Windows 3.1, 95, 98, XP, Vista, 7, 8/8.1 and 10 were some of the OSes I used in my lifetime. Want to try more OSes one day, but I'm afraid of it being a bit complicated.

Counting only the OSs that were installed on my computer:

- Windows XP SP3 (2010-2014)
- Windows 7 SP1 (2014-present)
- Debian w/ KDE (dual-boot for a brief time in 2015 before it destroyed itself )

And that's it. I have actually used 95/98/ME while I was younger though, because the computer we had at home wasn't good enough to run more recent OSs (it was an early-ish COMPAQ one). I know for sure that by 2008 we were still using 98, but afterwards I only remember XP.

Mac OS X 10.4-ish. IDK which specifically, but I had an iMac G3
Windows Vista
Windows 7
A bunch of Linux Distros. I don't feel like listing all of them. I messed around with that computer a lot.
Windows 8
Windows 10
I'm currently using macOS High Sierra.
