| I was once looking for an NSF music rip of Super Game's Aladdin bootleg (which is a port of the Genesis version) and failed to find one anywhere. So I decided to try and make one myself.
Surprisingly enough, it wasn't that hard. The whole music and initialization code turns out to be located in just two or three banks. I had to add a tiny piece of extra code so that the players would skip sound effects and go straight to the music, though. The NSF isn't optimized (according to FCEUX, 75% of its data is unused), but works fine on both emulators and NSF-supporting music players. It's set to PAL, as that sounds closer to the Genesis original. Download NSF (Link Updated: March 7th, 2016) |
