I may not be full-on crazy enough to drop 5000 USD on a camera, but I did spend a lot on a nice enough one. Also a few lenses.

Latest lense is a mirror reflector type.

Took a photo of the moon to see how it does before I wake up at 3AM to get the super blue blood moon shots.
I am somewhat impressed with it. (This is a crop with rescale [down], w)

I happened to get one of those Pantax Minis that could do mini Polaroid-type photos, and I noodled around and took about a dozen of them. And given that I love how scanners pick up photographs/I've been thinking of getting a standalone scanner for my artwork, suddenly the idea of having one doesn't seem quite as farfetched as before.

What instrument is that? Huh.

I should try to get back into this; maybe if I got one of those goofy little bendy tripods and charged my point-n-shoot, I could carry it around in my pocket again. Some of the sunsets here in town have been very pretty.

Hello, I recently took some photos from my phone and adapted them into atmospheric backgrounds for an interactive story project I'm working on. They're all 320 x 200, for a low res, achromatic aesthetic. Here are a few of my favorites

is there some posterization i’m seeing? how many colors did you restrict it to?

thanks!!!!

I do like to abuse posterization, but for the more extreme ones, it was a heavy manipulation of the levels, doing a big clamp on the max black and white. Also upped saturation on 1 and 3.

It's an autoharp! It has 36 strings and is played by pressing down chord bars which mute certain strings so strumming it plays a chord.

I actually used one of those exact bendy tripods and a point and shoot camera from 2006 for this too, which I always have with me.
