I don't know HTML, but a user pointed out to me my post layout images horribly stretch the page in IE 10.

Any ideas how to get the intended look as Firefox shows?

I'm not sure what you expect Firefox to do differently. You have two large banners side by side; they're inevitably going to force the table to be at least 868 pixels wide (plus padding). Try rearranging them?

Beats me. I'm not sure how or why it worked for a while.
As far as I'm concerned random letters like "tr" and "td" may as well mean "Team Rocket" and "touchdown".

In the mean time I emptied the post layout fields until I acquire something better.

Another solution could have been applying the following style to both banners:

width: 50%; max-width: [X]px;

where [X] is the width of the banner image. That would force the banners to shrink down if they were too large to fit onscreen.

Or there's also overflow:hidden; .
