I don't have a problem helping you with your collection, but I want you to know in advance that I came across these illegitimately.

Cheezburger.com won't stop posting about it, so I might as well bring up the part about Mega Sharpedo, Mega Camerupt and Mega Gallade.

Also, best Resaurant LeWow team ever:

How'd I get through the fourth battle in 1 turn? Let's just say two Feints and one Discharge sealed the deal.

Black, White and White 2 came in the mail today, filling up the remainder of my Generation 5 collection. I was about to tell you what cool treats other players left me, but I forgot I bought them new, so I instead took them out of their factory shrink wrap and thereby destroyed the collector's value.

SoulSilver is hopefully still in the mail. Amazon's delivery estimate somehow or other wound up starting in early October despite the fact that I placed my order over two weeks ago, meaning it's probably an international shipment coming from Neptune. I can only hope it's not also an international version of the game once it finally does get here.

The move Trick or Treat adds the Ghost type to the target, and Forest's Curse adds the Grass type. This is in addition to any types the target already has, meaning, theoretically, you can have a Pokémon with 4 types in battle.

Does this mean you can produce a Pokémon with no type weaknesses? I put together a program to find out! And... no, you can't.

The following valid type combinations have only one type weakness:
  • Electric → Weak to Ground
  • Normal → Weak to Fighting
  • Bug + Steel → Weak to Fire
  • Dark + Ghost → Weak to Fairy
  • Dark + Poison → Weak to Ground
  • Ghost + Normal → Weak to Dark
  • Ground + Water → Weak to Grass
  • Fairy + Ghost + Normal → Weak to Steel
  • Ghost + Normal + Psychic → Weak to Dark
  • Grass + Fairy + Steel → Weak to Fire
Including impossible combinations, there is no combination of 1, 2 or 3 types with zero type weaknesses. However, the following impossible 4-type combinations have no type weaknesses:
  • Bug + Dragon + Steel + Water
  • Flying + Ground + Steel + Water
If you'd like to see what custom multi-type charts look like, I've got a solution for you right here:

Magical data URI

Enter your desired extra type names into the text box, separated by spaces, and click the Generate button. It will use all of the specified types, plus all of the remaining types, and generate a type chart to match. The rows represent the defending type combinations, and the columns represent the attacking types.

Leaving the text field blank will produce the familiar single-type chart.

I got tired of waiting for SoulSilver to be delivered from Sagittarius A*, so I bought another one on Friday when I placed my order for Y. I did not pay for expedited shipping. I have it in my hands now. Six-star feedback on this one if I could. This is the last time I'll be getting Pokémon gifts from a stranger I've never met. So let's see what Jim of 27 hours has for me from his adventure that began on May 5, 2010...

He's got a Hoenn Groudon in there, and the token red Gyarados, but the PC as a whole has all of 16 mons in it. He does have the obligatory Lugia in the party, and it's no surprise that it's in a Master Ball. Oh well, can't complain. Thank you, Jim. Thanks to you, I've now bought 'em all!

I accidentally got a perfect IV Eevee with Adamant - nature, while I was breeding for a better Dunsparce. Huh.

That's the first time I ever heard anyone say "I got a perfect IV Eevee" in the context of a failure.

Anyhow, I just gotta:

I rolled 210 Nidorans yesterday (with Everstone and Destiny Knot) and only got one that was the way I wanted it (6x31 IVs and Hustle).

Incidentally, I have one male and three females with non-hidden abilities and perfect IVs if anyone's interested. The nature is Quirky. EDIT: And the females know Focus Energy.

Heheh, yeah, I tried to get male Eevee with good IV stats, so that it could pass them down to a male Dunsparce, which could then give them forward to the female Dunsparce who had Headbutt - egg move.

If you could, I could use a male Nidoran for Dunsparce breeding, since they belong to the same egg group~

I see you use the same marking system I do to indicate which stats are 31s on any given Pokémon.

Yup, it's easier to keep track of them. I only recently found out about those icons, funny enough!

Does anyone have access to a Damp Mudkip? Torrent is completely useless when Swampert's gonna go Mega immediately, but maybe I could switch into a Mega Glalie's Explosion? Still better than nothing, I guess.

In exchange, I can breed an Unburden Treecko, Defiant Piplup, Iron Fist Chimchar, Shell Armor Turtwig or Speed Boost Torchic (if you didn't get the event one).

EDIT - Nevermind, got one from somewhere else.

Warning: Image-heavy post! Dial-up users beware!
__________

If you live in the US, then today through the 16th you can go into GameStop and come out with a Diancie:

The downside is that it's limit one per customer. The upside is that there's no purchase necessary. Even if you don't play/have Pokémon, you can mosey on in and get a code for your friends, or the highest bidder at auction or what-not.

The mon in question has attributes like these:

This thing is going right into the sticker album where it belongs!

Oh my, 200 Potions? Totally worth it! Under ordinary circumstances, I can't fathom how I could raise enough cash to--

Oh, right. The Balm Mushrooms alone are enough to buy 20,811 Potions, an Antidote and a Repel!

Unless you count the Tynamo/Eelektrik/Eelektross line as said line has Levitate as an ability.

Me only having an import 3DS is showing its issue in that I am completely unable to walk into a gamestop and obtain a Diancie Code.

I don't, since you can pass around Abilities to do all manner of fun stuff. Like a Gastrodon with Sap Sipper, a Durant with Flash Fire or a Shedinja with Sturdy. I consider "type immunity" anything that still applies even when fighting something with Mold Breaker.
