And this was when I spent nearly 40 hours without sleep: Woke up on a Tuesday at 6am to get ready to go to work, worked till 3pm, left work to go home and change, took the bus to Philly, waited for an hour to take a bus to Pittsburgh getting there at 1am, went to a restaurant to have some dinner and chatted with people there till 6am, went to the bus stop and left to Toledo (Ohio) and got there at 11am, ate there and went sight (or lack thereof) seeing and then hopped on a bus at 7pm to Chicago, getting there at 11pm, then I had to wait for my cousin to come pick me up and she ran out of gas on the way and had to call for help, eventually I got picked up at 1am and taken home. Went to sleep nearly at 2am on that Thursday and woke up at around 11am the next day.... I was too excited to fall asleep, and it was about 20 degrees outside for most of the trip... |

Incoming rant. Little stream of consciousness. Fuck Hotwire. Do they really think two male adults, aged 47 and 17, want a goddamn single bed room? Did they not consider that the two may be, I dunno, father and son? And that maybe the two can't comfortably fit into a single king and it may end up being awkward as all fuck if they try? I can see maybe if they're willing to try and change it or cancel and refund but they make no promises. What the fuck kind of customer service is that? And now the hotel desk attendants are pissed at us for wasting THEIR time. I find that to be absolutely absurd. No fucking refunds or cancellations.
