I hear growing up in the 60s back in China, chicken eggs were a big deal and you'd only get to eat them on your birthday. So I don't see why they wouldn't make decidedly groovy Easter nosh.

Really, though, if I had to choose between regular eggs and a chocolate egg on just one occasion, I'd totally pick the chocolate egg, but I could never substitute real eggs in my diet with ones made out of processed cacao seeds and filled with yolk-like fondant. If I ever have kids, I'll get them Cadbury eggs on Easter and some special real egg—probably some organic heirloom kind or maybe an egg of something more exotic like quail or goose or duck. In fact, I might start the tradition with myself this year and go on a hunt for some for this coming Easter.

Oh, and guys, try deep-frying those Cadbury eggs sometime. It's really something else. Trust me. :9

We always had hard-boiled eggs on Easter- I mean, that's why we colored them the day before, to some extent.

Hard-boiled eggs are gross, IMO. I hate the texture.

I love egg sandwiches, though.

Goddammit now I'm hungry.

Soft-boiled eggs are really the best.

Soft-boiled eggs are great. Hard-boiled ones though... not so much.

Which is a problem if you don't know how to cook them because then either they'd remain raw (which is pretty bad) or get hard-boiled, for which I'd rather have it in any other possible way.

Me neither. But I heard an interesting tip on how to make hard boiled eggs better: bake them. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe we will this weekend with it being Easter and all.

It looks like soft boiling is a lot more work than just normal hardboiling.

I used to like them, then my mother tried cooking them after we moved.

I hate hard boiled eggs too. Though it's not so much as the whites that feel weird, but the yolk. It feels very unnatural and tastes weird to boot.

Though I still eat one for show since there's really no other time of the year I get to have hard boiled eggs.

The best way to eat a hard-boiled egg is in an egg salad though, so the texture is masked by the mayonnaise anyway.

I hate mayonnaise. In fact I can't even stand it at all. Its pressence alone is nauseating.

Actually, I hate the yolk of a hard-boiled egg too. And the white is basically tasteless.

So that's why I don't eat many soft-boiled ones. I'd rather just fry it or make it something else.

So much hate for food.

mayonnaise
eggs

Then again, I'll eat almost anything. Even casu marzu.

I haven't had casu marzu before, but I probably would try it at least.

URIs must be properly escaped, they must not contain unescaped
characters below U+0021 including the space character and not
above U+007E. Tidy escapes the URI for you as recommended by
HTML 4.01 section B.2.1 and XML 1.0 section 4.2.2. Some user agents
use another algorithm to escape such URIs and some server-sided
scripts depend on that. If you want to depend on that, you must
escape the URI on your own. For more information please refer to
http://www.w3.org/International/O-URL-and-ident.html

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
