This is mostly to see if no problems have arisen. Also, I'm pretty sure you guys would like to see what I've done so far! For other, I more than likely don't have the hack, thus supply a link for it. If you are going to suggest hack, make sure it is predominately level redesign. I'm doing this as a focus if all my works have succeeded. Don't worry, one day I'll make a really nice SMB hack, I promise! 
Remember this? A lot has changed since then (for example, 500+ levels!), but it proves that I indeed am working on stuff.
One more thing, SUPER MARIO BROS. HACKS!!!!

Yeah, SMAS. I also found a number of good ol' SMB hack you just can't find anywhere else. So I'll be editing the thread to include them all. Plus links to those that have gone missing. |

No, it originally only supported 128 levels (that includes bonus levels, auto walk areas, and regular levels). It needed an extra byte for some flagging BS. I managed to remove it and then I got 256 levels total. Then I modified the "more difficult quest" flag to make another set of levels, a total of 512 (which is why I want the two best). Now I'm still working on changing bonus rooms and auto walk zones so I can have those 512 levels uninhibited by those things. |
