I don't actually have any findings on Devil May Cry 1, but the director of the game has talked about some cut features on his Twitter account. According to him, Trish was going to be a playable character (her in-battle voice clips had been recorded before the idea was cut) and there was going to be a fighting game-like versus mode, which at least had some work on it. I don't really have the means to look into this, so I thought I'd post it here in the hopes that someone else will.

To my knowledge, for the Fire Emblem stuff, so long as its part of an actual game or a playable prototype, then it is alright to post to the Wiki. It isn't okay to speculate off external sources, i.e. magazine screenshots.

Word of God is also acceptable, so long as you can source it, me thinks.

I've actually been meaning to document some of the unused Fire Emblem stuff for this site for some times now... but time never comes :p There's interesting unused stuff in every game, and we also were able to steal prototypes of FE7 and FE8 directly from some connection with Intelligent System's server or something (happened four years or so on a forum called FESS - Fire Emblem Sanctuary of Strategy--the dumps floating around are from this event). They have their own interesting bits of information/development floating around as well.
