Sort of curious what people use here, since the people here are generally more technically able than average and so the answer is not as likely to be boring.

For me, I use Windows 7 x64, and Windows XP x32, and on an Android touchpad I have, some old Android 2.3 or something.

Palm OS "Garnet"

Dunno if that is really much of an interesting answer...

Actually it is. I'm surprised any Palm devices see much use anymore.

This and when all the answers are tallied, I can get an idea of the average operating system used by an average Jul user.

I've got Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and Windows 7 Business x64. The former is my daily use OS, the latter I use for messing around and wasting time.

Windows XP Home Edition, 32-bit

Currently running a Live CD of Ubuntu 11.04 to help with getting me working on stuff that really does matter to me. Definitely appears to be working better than XP to some extent.

Home Computer: Windows XP SP 3
Laptop: Mac OS X 10.5.8
Virtual Machine: see Home Computer

I plan to upgrade the home computer to Windows 7 if it becomes too unusable (dang damaged motherboard). In the meantime, I use constant periodic file transfers to ensure that everything that is on my home computer is on my laptop in some way, making it a portable mirror.

Windows 7 x64 on my PC and laptop and Natty Narwhal Linux on a partition on my PC. Tempted to remove it, because I never use it, but

Oh, and Android 2.2 on my phone.

Windows 7 ultimate x64 on my stationary computer.

And a custom rom based on Android 2.2 on my mobile.

Nothing amazing here, should probably upgrade my phone though.

- Windows XP Professional SP3 on my home computer
- Windows XP Professional SP2 on my older computer (rarely used)
- Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit at work (yes, all computers at work here run home editions )

Also a few virtual machines I rarely use (MacOS 7.5.3 and 9.0.4, various Windows versions), but no phone or anything

Desktop: Used 70% of computer time
Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit

Netbook: 25%
Windows 7 Starter 32 bit

Laptop: 5%
Dell 500 something
Windows Vista 32 bit
(This thing is crap, both hardware and the OS)

I was only ever exposed to Windows systems growing up, so its naturally my OS of choice because of familiarity, and to be honest, other than Vista, Windows has been good to me. We use different Linux systems at work..but I don't consider them "mine."

On my desktop:

Arch Linux 64-bit with KDE (Main OS)
Windows XP Professional 32-bit (Used in a VM to run Windows apps)
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (Have touched it about 3 times in the past year)

On my netbook (not used much):

Linux Mint 8
Windows XP Home 32-bit

On my phone: iOS 5.0.1 (jailbroken)

I'm boring. Oh well.

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
