Are all these vote changes even legal? There's nothing in the rules that says you can, but it does say you only get one vote... I think everyone should have to follow their original vote; I'm not sure what to do about MM200's condition, since it's in the same post.

Well then, I hope you guys like the rules as they are, because you're going to have to deal until you bring this rule back.

Also, I argue against any rule changing. No rule allows anyone to change their votes. It in fact explicitly states you get ONE vote, meaning you have to STAY with said vote.

Unless Lunaria wants to tell me I'm interpreting that wrong.

Scratch that, if this goes through, we can still do rule changes/removals. Too bad it will break the game.

So yeah, if we CAN change our votes, I'm voting FOR this now . Watch this blow up in our faces.

---------------------------------------
Rule removed: 9. Each player get one vote in voting.

It is now Snowdeath's turn.
---------------------------------------
Rules:

Immutable:
1. Players take turns in order of the list, descending.
3. The one with the highest score at the end of the game wins.
5. We vote with one vote per player to decide if any new rules are added.
6. Rules that are Immutable needs to be voted on to be mutable before they can be changed or removed.
13. You can't make any form of rule change if it conflicts with another rule.

Mutable:
2. After each turn a d6 (standard die) is rolled to add points to your score.
7. Players can make rule changes by suggesting them during their turn.
8. Once a rule change have been suggested the other players have 24 hours to vote on it before it passes/fails to pass.
10. If the majority is for, the rule change passes.
11. On a tie: Rule changes fail to pass.
14. If a player fails to play their turn, they lose "(# of players - rank + 1) * # of days missed" points.
15. For every time you vote for approval of a rule, one point is added to your score.

-------------------
Die roll: 2

Stats:

1. silverthundr - 10
2. Nicole - 13*
3. BlueWhirl - 5
4. MM200 - 11*
5. Sanky - 8*
6. Snowdeath - 8

Round: 3
Turn: 18
Game ends in: 12 rounds

Currently: Snowdeath

--------
I went with not allowing vote changing. This is mostly due to the regard that players should not be able to change their votes once they have placed it later on to get an extra point or fuck over other players. I felt that was the most logical thing to do, since: there is no rule for it ATM.

also, I am marked "*" for every player who get a bonus point this round for easier review. Not sure if I will keep doing this.

I'm going to propose to add a new rule due to the new rules;

Rule 16. You must end your posts in this thread with the following word, 'derp', or you will lose one point.

I'm sorry, that's lame, but I can't think of anything else. (I just woke up.)

You need to wake up harder.

You could at least transmute Rule 14 again.

Erm.... What to do, what to do....

Oh, hey, look, pointless stuff to abuse.

I'm going to Transmute Rule 11. And vote yes 99999999999999999^99999999999999 times.

And I can do that.

8. Once a rule change have been suggested the other players have 24 hours to vote on it before it passes/fails to pass.
-If it's not a rule change, you can vote yourself.

5. We vote with one vote per player to decide if any new rules are added.
-No limit on votes if they are for anything other than adding votes. (THANKS SANKY)

Also,

15. For every time you vote for approval of a rule, one point is added to your score.
-CHA-CHING!

Also abusable stuff I didn't do :

13. You can't make any form of rule change if it conflicts with another rule.
-You can still add conflicting rules.

11. On a tie: Rule changes fail to pass.
-Only rule changes. Anything else is not specified.

And probably other stuff I don't feel like listing.

So does this really need to last another 11 rounds? Well, I know what my answer is : derp.

What isn't allowed is disallowed. At the moment, there is no rule allowing you to transmute at all. If it was the other way around, I could just say "I win" because the rules don't state I can't.
EDIT: Apparently, this is a fallacy in the original ruleset. 6. Rules that are Immutable needs to be voted on to be mutable before they can be changed or removed. speaks of transmutation to mutable, but there is nothing letting you transmute back.

Even if we went past that: 10. If the majority is for, the rule change passes.
You voting 10^(10^(10^1.182712704465659)) times does not constitute the majority between players.

15. For every time you vote for approval of a rule, one point is added to your score.

I thought this only applies for the approval of a (new) rule, otherwise it would talk about changes, such as...

13. You can't make any form of rule change if it conflicts with another rule.
-You can still add conflicting rules.
11. On a tie: Rule changes fail to pass.
-Only rule changes. Anything else is not specified.

Adding rules is a form of rule change.

I thought that about 15 too, but that's not how it was applied. (See what happened after we removed rule 9. REMOVED.)

Also, no, it does not pass. But I get that many bonus points.

Since transmuting 11 is not allowed by the rules, just change it to rule 13 instead, because it works that way

Also, rule changes and rules added could be taken as different terms, as both are used. So arguably, you could saw we can't actually add any rules. A lot of technicality comes from how we are going to interpret various terms.

Actually, Sanky's logic seem sound. Since it's no longer possible to transmute or remove rules, silver did not take a logical action on his turn. He did also not vote, since there was no rule change to vote for. He does lose a point for not saying derp in his latest post though. :3

Sorry for taking so long, I needed to decide on what was the most logical and rule following move. And... I was a bit busy doing other things. :p
