I think signpost maze shouldn't count towards total daily posts. It gives an inaccurate representation of conversational activity. It just gives bloated "feel good" statistics, without adding any conversational quality. If it's important to anyone that it be counted in some way, perhaps a separate thread.

| Post counts are such a meaningless statistic anyway that you either just do it uniformly like you have now or do away with them completely. |

It may create incentive to make an effort towards conversation, rather than just posting non-conversational forum games posts. Especially when that daily posts count goes from around 100 to like, 50-70. And you guys do seem to care somewhat about that numerical value, but I don't think there's much interest init actually referring to interesting., active conversation. Just whether it's a higher number. That's why I think it should be separate.

I don't disagree completely Paulguy.
I personally don't care much for game threads like that guessing a word/letter thing. I just think the majority of posts in there are well thought out, so it'd make no sense to get rid of one of the forums. If we were to get rid of any forum from not counting, I'd choose Craziness Domain personally. ____________________ What Would Leggy Do?
