Wow, those guys got a lot of posts!

And I'm the first replyer in this topic! I feel like I'm lighting the Olympic torch or someshit.

But Colin was the one who started it! Wouldn't he be lighting it?

"A horrible person". That's what it says. "A horrible person."

We weren't even testing for that.

I guess he would be the torch itself.

I don't normally ban for offsite behavior but you're a whole level of terrible.

30 posts a day per person isn't that big.

That's a good story forum day between 2 people

Y'know, depressingly, I forgot that board existed.

Of course, I've never been in it myself, so... I guess it's not that unbelievable. I barely even remember the music games forum exists.

Once upon a time, there was an F-Zero modification forum.

It was a wretched hive of ignominy.

Which is a shame, because F-Zero GX is a pinnacle of corny awesome racing.

Well, at least you don't have trouble adding minutes to it and them randomly vanishing twice.

Although I think that's more of a byproduct of awkward phone systems than anything else.

This was for F-Zero X, so, yeah. Not GX, unfortunately.

A 'simple' cellphone? Like, a burnphone? I thought all you had to do was go to a radioshack or call their service from the phone and place a minutes order. Or do they not come pre-activated with a number like they claim?

Since you phrase it that way, now I'm wondering if Colin is up to something.

...Burnphone? What

It's got to be better in some way than my phone.

I'll give this thing credit, though: It's a fucking tank, and it does calls pretty well. You have no idea how many times I've ended up dropping this thing. Newer phones you have to be scared if you even so much as drop it from a foot high.

We call them burnphones, because they're prepaid minute phones already activated with a number and no way to properly trace them. As you can literally go into a shop somewhere, buy a card, and activate it without any ID or otherwise. Plus you can throw them away after use.

Literally, a phone meant to be burnt.

...yes we've used them for bad things but not as bad as others..

Oh.

Mine's not one of those - it's pretty much a pay as you go phone, which, for me, is the best plan since I don't make very many calls away from home.

Mine is actually sort of a burnphone. It's Net10, prepaid, not really linked to any ID. Of course I like my ancient Nokia 1100 so much that I have kept using it all these 5-6 years.

It really does beat all these other cell phones with their overpriced plans and nonsense.
