About maybe two months ago I just kinda shruged this one off until someone on another Acmlm forum I frequent were making inside jokes about this show. Me being totally oblivious; I decided to give it a try and see what the fuss was about. You can read my reactions Here
You can watch this show for free online on Youtube which actually holds reasonably good quality in terms with Manga Entertainment crossing this deal to Youtube.
Basically this is a story of a Young boy named Simone the digger who was pushed as a boy and on his story in becoming a MAN.
This show is so good. It owns. It owns pretty fucking hard. Gainax (Same studio who brought FLCL, Magical Shopping Arcade Abonobishi, Evangelion) brings basically a love letter to shows like Gundam, GaiGaiGo, and Macross. And holy mother fucking shit did they do a damn good job with this show.

I personally say watch the actual show first and then watch the movies. So it's not all rushed at you. Plus you get a climaxing effect when watching the show from start to finish, and just when you thought it could not get any better the movies top it all off and then adds like 800% more manliness into the mix. It's like watching Epic Meal time without food.
