Yes, it is a type of restoration for "Msmoke", but it is not a restoration to show what could look like this room. This is just for fun in an unused room that I love.

I think I will put it into the hacked version of The Wind Waker.

The text viewer has already been released a while ago, I must have forgotten to post about it here, tho: http://magicstone.de/dzd/random/WWText_2.rar

The model viewer I posted about there - or rather, the BMD/BDL model parser it contains - has evolved into Wind Viewer. I also never really got animations to work, so you're not missing out on anything that BMDview2 can't already do.

Oh, splendid to see the result! There are still some small details on textures (the mushrooms or the herbs on the trunks of trees), but overall it's really well done! It was worth it to restore the oldest room of the game. It's better than I imagined! Great work on your part. I'm sure it must have taken a lot of hours to add the objects.

Adding the objects took a long time! I wish Wind Viewer had an option to automatically add objects. Perhaps if I have a little free time next week I might look at the code for WV and add that feature in. That is assuming I am smart enough to understand the code.

I wouldn't say that this is the final result of the map. I really wanted to put something together for the game's 10th birthday and that is what I went with for now. It shouldn't be too hard to add the texture you mention. I am probably not going to touch this project again for awhile but when I do, I'll add the finer touches to the map as you have suggested.

I'm just happy that I was able to get the forest from the game's original trailer mostly textured and working on the game's 10th birthday

Could you add a download link so I can test the resurrection of "A_R00"? I want so much to walk in the room of the game!

Okay, I'll wait until you're finalizing some things in the restoration of A_R00!

This restoration would not have been possible without the DZB file of A_R00. With this file, A_R00 was reborn 10 years later. Like other unused rooms that I made playable again!

Holy shit. I have serious procrastination issues. I say it will take a few days and then more than a week goes by...

Before a month goes by, I should probably just give you what I have. I guess since it is the 25th, you can consider this a christmas present.

AR00

Because I feel like taking a break from restoring the model, I probably won't continue to restore the map for a little while.

There are some things I should point out. While this Room arc will work in Dolphin(for me anyway), I am not certain it will work on a physical console. In fact, I would not be surprised if a console crashed when this room is loaded. The reason being is because not every mesh is textured and the converter I use generates a few errors that can be skipped. If you can remember, the reason why the old green model I created for this room didn't load on console was because of the former reason. You can try to load it on console if you want though. Let me know what you think and feel free to add/delete/move actors present on the map so it more closely matches the forest from the original trailer.

I understand it is not urgent to complete this restoration. The result is very good! Thank you for giving me this model! I could see if there are things to add later.

I have to wait until tonight to test it on my Wii, but I am optimistic about the possibility that it works. My version of "Msomke" has a lot of things and it has not prevented it works on the Wii.

The only reason why I don't think my AR00 would work is because it seems that a real console is very VERY picky about model textures and meshes compared to actors and there are still some errors to work out. Dolphin, on the other hand, doesn't seem to care . Regardless, let me know of your results and thanks for your version of Msmoke!

I just noticed that "A_R00" has no file "event_list.dat" in the file "Stage.arc". This room is very unstable if you try to fly in the sky. The game crash for some strange reason... I just know the real reason! This is simply the absence of file "event_list.dat"!

I added the file "event_list.dat" of "Ebesso" which seems pretty close and very old. I also added shadows and blue sky, two things that had disappeared long ago. The file "Stage.dzs" was almost empty of all effects.

Will update the file "Stage.arc" to test the new "A_R00", it will be much better and more fun!

Otherwise, here is a link with new textures for "A_R00", because I saw that some were not very good qualities for some strange reason. Besides, I've seen that some textures do not use transparency, is this normal?
