You and me both. I know the teams for the most part, mainly footbal (US) and baseball. But I only know a few of the big name players but couldn't tell you any stats. My brother is the opposite, he follows everything. NFL, MLB, NHL, Nascar, almost everything I guess. He doesn't follow basketball really.

Of English football, I know... maybe 10 names of teams, no stats, no players (except for the easy ones) and I don't know anything of any other sport. Any sport conversation is lost on me, unless it's pool, because it's the only game I like

I do follow NHRA (motor sports). Since getting married, I've become more inundated with drag racing from my father-in-law. We've been to a few of the races out here in Las Vegas. Really fun to watch and amazing how the cars go 300mph within 1000ft in under 4 seconds. I've learned most of the drivers and teams, with John Force being the biggest name. He and his 3 daughters race. And they have 2 other drivers on their team, Matt Hagan and Mike Neff.

I feel like I'm the only one on the internet who cares about sports sometimes.

The only other people who seem to care (that I know of) are the fat slobs on ESPN who are too lazy to do more than comment on it.

I bet half of them have never run a 5k, hit a baseball, or shot hoops for more than an hour.

Oh god, please don't remind me of gym class... 1k isn't bad, but anything more than that and my lack of endurance catches up and I die.
