This will be very useful when it comes to making texture packs for n64 games. This should definitely be on the SM64 Hacking forums like what Metal_Man88 said.

Not much of a post here. I was wondering if i should extend the canvas of the frontend to 320x320.

Here I guess I'll just ask, is there any changes you would like to see in the frontend? Any bugs?

I usually just use Tile Molester to browse around in the ROM. It displays the address somewhere in the status bar.

Be careful, it doesn't usually give the correct address. You'll probably have to increase or decrease it by a few bytes to make it work with my program.

The download works fine for me. Be sure you're trying to download it from this link.

This looks like a good tool for Mostly any game. Question though, does it work with a standard Perfect Dark V1.1 ROM?

I don't know, why don't you try it and see?

My decoder only supports uncompressed textures in two the RDP's several native formats. If the textures are stored in some other format, my decoder will not work.

If you happen to find textures in a format that my decoder doesn't understand, I'm plenty willing to help you out.

Well, I've got to be at my gaming PC to check that out. Does Goldeneye work with it? If Goldeneye works, I'm pretty sure Perfect Dark will work.

Palettes are usually 16-bit RGBA, so you can extract it as a 4x4 or 16x16 texture and edit the individual pixels to change the palette.

I see, but if I find it how I can change? The tool don't import nothing for me in Cruis'n USA, neither an altered texture, if I write a star with Paint into the texture the tool don't import the edited BMP.

When you're editing the texture, you need to make sure it's got a palette of 16 colours (including transparency) if you're going to make it an indexed texture. RGBA16 textures don't use a palette, though.

How exactly are you trying to import the texture? Are you using the command-line program directly, or the GUI written by Gamax92?

But the texture that I wish to edit is of 256 colors, then how I can edit? Are you sure that a 256 colors palette can be in a 16 bit RGBA? And you know palmatch.exe? Is a tool that can find a palette from a PNG file, I have the PNG of the palette because I've spent 6 hours to make it by edit a pixel once at once in the custom palette of crystal tile, the colors are all right, I have the PAL file that I have made myself, but I don't know where can be the actual palette into the rom, Palmatch.exe is offline, is impossible download it from the official website, can exists a similar tool that can help me with Cruis'n USA? Sorry for my poor english, I'm italian, please can you help me?

The GUI, but perhaps I can use also Crystal tile 2, have the function to view in 16 bit RGBA like this tool, and I can import succesfull the 256 color BMP, but I can't find the palette to replace. Then I've the original palette in BMP and PAL format that is useful for view the texture in the tools that can't load the actual palette, then I must have to find the corresponding into the rom and the way to replace, please, help me.

-EDIT-
Here are the 2 palettes, in left the original, in right the palette that I want to replace.

I want to change exactly 10 colors. But how I can find that palette?

Image shack have altered the color of the palette image, I've uploaded the palette files into a zip:
http://www.mediafire.com/?5y4l3yau7x88yb5
Can you then help me to find the palette into the rom?

I found something that is similar to the palette you have. It's located at 0x108F7C.

There are no tools that I know of for finding palettes.

Now the problem is that I can't import with the GUI, how I can solve? I've tried with the CMD but I'm not good with the CMD and I don't know the instruction to import the image into the rom.
