Oh well, the rain's gone for good. I'm still taking my umbrella as extra security, I wouldn't want rail to pop out of nowhere like some weeks ago.

The rain might be gone, but the clouds are not. Except on the mornings, where the sun shines , it's always cloudy here. Temperature hasn't changed much, still near 17° C.

Speaking of rail (), what sucks even more is when hail pops out of nowhere. I was riding my bike once in what seemed to be usual weather. It was cloudy, maybe a bit cool but nothing unusual. Then, literally out of nowhere, it started hailing. Honestly, it was like someone switched a light switch and it just came down. My hands were unprotected since I wasn't wearing gloves(it wasn't cold so no reason to) and, of course, I was holding onto the handles of the bike. When that hail hit, it hurt my hands so much from the impacts. I think I had to get off my bike because it was a pure hazard to control the bike and take the pain. Then just as soon as it started, it stopped. It was quite the anomaly of weather and I have yet to see it ever happen again. Weird stuff .

Seattle’s been covered in some of the fiercest fog I’ve seen yet. Like, hella aggro fierce fog. My partner and I went out to the creepiest park and she dressed in all black and we took photographs.



Personally, I think it’s less creepy when a place is shrouded in fog. In fact, I find it oddly calming. Like, there is this post-apocalyptic stillness to it and I feel like I can roam the streets freely even though it means someone can easily hide in a bush and pick my pockets.

It’s been a lovely few days before Halloween and I seriously hope this progresses into Halloween itself. But the forecast says rain is on its way for Halloween? We’ll see. I miss rain—October has all in all been all but precipitation-free—but I don’t want it to put a damper on my Halloween activities!

Argh... I should have never said out loud the rain has gone away. You might guess what could possibly happen...

Especially infuriating because as soon as I finished school, it started raining quite heavily. What's worse is that the so-called "extra security" (read: a very small umbrella (due to lazyness in my part)) didn't work quite well his time.

There's not even a bit of fog to make the weather better.

Brrrrrrr, man, it is cold. First frost has hit Seattle. It was 31°F this morning! Rain has been exceptionally rare. It sucks. Today, though, it was super clear out and I could see Mount Rainier, which is okay and I secretly wished I had the time to visit the observation desk of the Columbia Center and snap a few photographs of the mountain off in the distance but instead I went home to my heater.

It’s been so dry this winter. It’s so disappointing.

Oh god, no snow here but today was ultra shitty weather!

I had class at 8am so I left around 7:30am, the temperature was at -10C (14F) and the wind was steady at around 15MPH (25kph) occasionally gusting to about 25MPH (40kph) and higher... The wind chill was at a bonechilling -31C (-24F).

And the fun part is it's technically not winter yet!

What this means is it's going to get hella cold around here and I'm really not excited about that. Still dry as a desert over here. 0% chance of snow/rain, humidity around 20% most of the time, and deteriorating air quality due to lack of wind recently. Thankfully it's supposed to be windy this afternoon so hopefully it will improve a bit.

This is wierd. The temperature is constantly going up and down, up and down, up and down.

For example, the temperature some hours ago was almost 32°F, but now it's up again to 49°F.

And that's not counting what happened after the 8th... temperatures going relatively high (from near 60°F down to the much hated "near 32°F"). Still no snow, although up on the mountains there is quite a lot there.
