Also, vocab word of the day:

Lasting for a short time.

Yep, had to learn that with another 100-200 vocab words a few years ago in English class. Now the only think I'm wondering is how it relates to the JCS.

I used the word earlier to describe the temporary nature of any one person winning the JCS.

As ultimately even top posters like Terra, Anya, or Xkeeper eventually stopped constantly winning the JCS.

I still find it hard to believe that Xkeeper was so active around here. He just seems so...reclusive.

But however! Give me another vocab word. I'm enjoying the hell out of this.

He used to be the one who made most of the topics. He was everywhere. He was ubiquitous to the place, but as he usually does, when things get more active, he is reclusive.

Well, that, and he's on IRC now. Back when it was more forum-oriented, and he didn't have as much IRC stuff.

Ubiquitous, appearing everywhere. Another one I know already Over my entire time here though, I've only seen about 4-5 of his posts. Never would think he was that active.

"A horrible person". That's what it says. "A horrible person."

We weren't even testing for that.

That's how life goes: sometimes you have a lot of time to spend in posting, other times you're booked solid with stuff to do and can't really be here.

And sometimes I'm here because I'm procrastinating from all the things I'm booked with . I get what you mean though, as it will happen to me in the fall and spring of the upcoming year. I'll be so booked with stuff that I won't be able to come on much I'll have to spend as much time as I can here in the summer.

Oh man, you have no idea how amused I am at the word.

('Tis a word I noticed a friend use four years ago, and because of that I still use it today, making me think of her whenever I hear it.)

That's exactly the same story with the word "nadir" for me. A friend used it and I haven't forgotten it ever since and think of him when I hear it

vapid - adj.

Having lost life, sharpness, or flavor; dull.

The substitute teacher is so fucking vapid nowadays that he just doles out detentions left and right.

How good are the odds that the bonus points are a negitive value?
