I've put in almost 200 hours into Dragon Age 2 and that came just came out not too long ago.

I can't possibly imagine what it must be like to dedicate so much of your time into a game anymore. The last time I did that was when I had a staph infection and couldn't type much or play the piano for two months so I just did nothing but sit in my room playing fucking Etrian Odyssey 3 all day. Usually when I have spare time, I just socialize on-line or something. That's always super fun. :J

I tend to spend a lot of my spare time on IRC.

Actually, more like I tend to be on IRC almost every waking hour of my life. I'm not always at the keyboard, though

That's actually one reason I like emulators instead of real systems. When I'm on an emulator, I'm on my computer and can easily switch to IRC or IM.

Laptop. I can still console game and chat online...even though I don't chat that much online.

I just use my secondary monitor for PS3 gaming when applicable! :3

Gotta fix this set-up so it works for older systems too.

I actually don't emulate much outside of hacking lately. I find that I enjoy games more when I'm on the go, hence, I got a DS. Which can emulate pretty well, too!

And I'm on IRC pretty much all the time.

I do have a DS. Since DS emulation tends to suck, I play DS games on the real thing.

But that's portable, so I can always be holding the DS while sitting at the computer

I've got my older systems (and Wii) hooked up in the 2nd bedroom. Main TV has two 360 systems and a Ps3 hooked up, main bedroom has a 360 and an original Xbox hooked up.

Yeah, I don't play newer full-sized consoles anyway

Anya, you should get on IRC more often. It's awesome

Sometimes it's just not active.

Also, if you go into #x, there usually isn't much activity anyway. The real parties are in other channels

Right, I don't think i've ever owned an actual non-portable console other than a NES clone with a bunch of 9999-in-1 carts.

DS emulation has gotten a bit better, actually, but it's still not worth it. Anyway, I was talking about emulation on the DS, which you can do with a flash card.

I know. I was talking about emulating the DS on a PC.

My parents thought consoles were a waste of money when you could play games on a computer instead. They only bought consoles in their early days (Atari 2600, INTV, NES...).

I think the big problem is how much TempTina "floods" it at times.

Hard to keep a conversation going.

Yeah, I've heard so many bad things about FF2 that I'm skipping over it. After FF3, I'll play 4, 5, and 6 in order

I didn't like FF3 much either, but FF2 is hilariously awful. FF1 is my favorite so far.
