Acey, you said in your previous post that your 3DS has screwed up a few times now. How long has that been happening? For example, has your 3DS crashed like 3 times in a period of two months or has it crashed a bunch of times in the past week? Have all the crashes been happening when using a particular piece of software or just randomly whenever you close the 3DS?

Just to let you know, this is what my 3DS looks like when I crash it on command when loading a particular piece of software from my SD card and closing my 3DS. Compare it to how your 3DS crashes.

If your 3DS crashes when using a particular piece of software then, like I said before, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it crashes randomly when you close your 3DS, that could be a problem depending on the frequency of the crashes. If the frequency is high then I would consider taking it to a repair shop as m64m has said or I would buy a new 3DS (it might be the perfect excuse to upgrade to an XL if you don't have one).

You can buy a new system and do a transfer, or you can get it "repaired" at an official Nintendo repair shop for a fee. I don't know what the cost would be, but they'd basically be transferring your data to a new device anyways and chances are it'd be cheaper than buying a new one yourself. Out of curiosity, is it an original or an XL?

Sounds like what happened to my 3DS when I dropped it on the tiles in our house.

A hard reboot of the 3DS fixed it in my case, so try that.

The system seems nice, more CPU means that the system can do more impressive things, furthermore, the extra shoulder buttons is something I can see having a great use. However, the battery time is still too low IMO, this is a handheld, after all, and battery life is a huge factor.

However, this thing will still prove hard for nintendo to market unless they can actually think of a less retarded name. "New 3DS" is possibly one of the worst things they could have come up with, IMO. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward for the New New Super Mario Bros game!

Normally, I can defend their console names for their expressive merit, but this one is just... dumb.

It could have been worse, though. They could have called it the 3DS2.

And then they should release both New Super Mario Bros. 3 and New Super Mario 3D Land on it in the same year.
