I don't really like the music.. I think DPP's was more memorable.
It is kinda linear, but I haven't gotten to the pint where it's split on the map.. And yeah, the game holds your hand a lot.
Also, i totally predicted this:
Gen II: You write letters by typing them
Gen III: You write letters by selecting words
Gen IV: You write letters by selecting sentences, then selecting words for the blanks
Gen V: You write letters by selecting words for pre-made letters.

Gen VI: Letters are generated automatically ?

I just found something interesting for you ladies and gentlemen. There is this software called Pokesav. It apparently only works on Diamond, Pearl and Platinum and it can change anything from type, move set, gender, shininess, ability, etc. For more info click here: Pokesav website.

Yes that is what I am doing I just hope they will not make it for the 3DS
I waited for platinum and get pearl or diamond until 6 months after that.

Any way on my Heart Gold I have 6 badges now.

I'll be picking White up sometime tomorrow morning/noon. No clue what starter I want, nor what any of the pokemon really are so this will be an interesting experience! I'm sure my team will end up rather generic but I'll try catching as much stuff as I can so I might do some switching in and out of pokes as i go.

Didn't go to the flea market I was planning to today because of a sore throat and the like, so I'll probably pick up White on Monday or Tuesday instead Wanted to do so sometime next week or so anyway, now I get to it earlier.

On the subject on SoulSilver, I went mad on a breeding spree, trying to get a Shiny Scyther via the Masuda method; Japanese ストライク with my German Ditto, then ストライク with one of my German Sichlor, then ストライク with my German Scherox (Scizor)...

I ended up with something like 15 normal Scyther... Anyone need a Scyther? Anyone?

I best head up there and get mine. They are having some trouble finding some of the supplies to restock shelves with and I'm the one who set it up.

I was gonna go in at opening, but yay sleeping in......at least until I rolled over into my dog's bead where I got the Deluxe works Dog Wash.

Got Pokemon White and good god the levels go by quickly. So far I only have my first badge and my Oshawott's been named Chopper.

Audino is a bitch to try and find and Joey's Patrat is in the top percentage of Patrat.

This game is amazing.

I found one easy, in the Dreamyard, without even realizing it was shaking.

So yes, I bought White today. I didn't even have to pre-order since I don't think my town is big enough to have such a dedicated following for a portable console game. Though at least there are people in this town who are excited to that degree about say, Halo or Call of Duty.

Got White earlier today, just did the Team Plasma battle in the Dreamyard. Team so far:

Lv 10 Munna (Jellypig)
Lv 8 Patrat
Lv 13 Oshawott (Wotter)
Lv 12 Lillipup (Classhound)
Lv 12 Pansear (Stir Fry)
Lv 11 Purrloin (Devia)

Patrat is on its way out once I find something to repalce it with but I'm continually surprised by its high-ish attack.

Having lots of fun so far!
