Even weirder, I see people from Sonic Retro, VGF, and here, all in the same place, when I go there.

I've seen a lot of weird smiley faces before, such as a "banned" stamp smiley, a computer-throwing smiley, etc.

Wonder if that was Sonic Retro, or some other board...

The latter one is everywhere - I don't know of its origins, though.

Then again, maybe it isn't too common - I just recall seeing it a lot.

The version I saw had the computer's screen blue at first, suggesting that Windows BSODed

I remember this one, as well.

Although I do remember a few frames of it working normally for a moment...

I can just barely remember some of Ezboard's smilies, too. They were... weird...

I wasn't at EZBoards much. They were the buttmonkey of board systems even back in 2002, at least at Acmlm's and its environs.

I miss the days when there were lots of AcmlmBoards

I don't remember Ezboard - probably went out of common use by the time I got online.

Proboards, though, I remember... haven't seen any of those in a while, though. (Nor InvisionFree...)

Ah, I was at multiple Ezboards, where a bunch of content-free spamfests were the norm.

Not much to miss, really.

I never saw too many spambots on boards I went to, to my memory.

Although I do remember userfloods, a few times.

Ezboards were spam heaven.

I also witnessed the destruction by spambots of many boards.

Also... Fireboard's death.

Is it depressing that I forget when that was?

I've been to a lot of Proboards, back in 2002 when they were prety easy to hack and exploit.

Spambots can die

Guys, I'm not seeing enough

I had an EZboard a long long time ago. I don't believe I had named it Alexandria back then. I named my site that after Leroy and I split from making FFLords. It probably had a grand total of 30 posts, 15 of them from me. Then I got a version of vbulletin and played around with that, eventually using Acmlm board and back to vbulletin. I think I still have a copy of the Acmlm board from when it used .dat files.

I had an AcmlmBoard for a while in 2003.

I have an AcmlmBoard now, which doesn't get much activity, but I keep it around just in case.

My Acmlmboard is still up and running. Tired of hackers, I blew up the registration.php. I plot to make a new one that only lets people I whitelist in. That's all it is for, anyway.

I got my domain name back a few months ago. Haven't really done much with it. I have a copy of Tuvai Bulletin Board that I had spruced up a bit but it was never public. I should start working on it again, even if its just a simple news site or something. In the words of Xkeeper, /effort

Whoa, Tuvai Board... now that's been dead since when, 2006? I remember stuff like Snitz Forums, UBB, ProBoards, YaBB, and even the infamous ezBoard

And long before that, there were threaded boards like Anyboard... and still before that, Usenet was dominant before the arrival of the message board as we know it today
