As they say, life happens. I don't think his entire life should be dedicated to pleasing us. That said the lack of updates doesn't bother me. I have plenty to preoccupy myself with.

THAT being said I really do enjoy this comic. Sure it isn't striking a medley with me like it did back when I first started reading (Early act 3) but it's some REAL quality work and I enjoy keeping up with it. I've met a lot of great people thanks to this comic too and I couldn't be happier.
