Hey! This is new hack wich will contains mostly NSMB Wii graphic but levels will be new. Some of those will be at part remaked from other SMB games. I'm going also to put some special levels in Mega Man style. First demo will be relased at this week and will contain levels: 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-T.
At this hack it will be also some levels like air ships, battle tanks or speed sands.
About videos: I don't know if i put any because i have lot problems with my program so now you'll see only photos.
About other things: If someone is intrested to help me you can write about it too. I'm looking for beta level testers too. If you have any ideas you can tell me about them.

I hope you aren't using NES Mega Man levels. I already have some built into my game. Was hoping to release soon as well.

This looks great. If you would like to play only with LUIGI, try to replace all Mario files with the Luigi files. Perhaps it works. And if you need helpm with the NSMB Wii Tilesets, Here's your man xD I have many NSMBW Tilesets in my game, too =)

I'm going to use only Mega Man NES graphic (mostly from MM 7 and 8) but that isn't sure. If i find better tileset (from SNES or PS 1) i would use those.

Dekkers: You could be beta level tester so be prepared that sometimes i will send you my levels to test on PM.

I saw somewhere an "always play as luigi" AR cheat. You could use DSATM to insert it on the rom permanently.

Also, to make an autoscroll level, I suggest you get one of the original ones and modify it to your needs.

To ADD an animated block... I think that's impossible without asm hacking. You can still edit the standard one though.

it is really complicated!

I think, you (dirbaio) are one of the few, who can patch ar codes with this program

You can replace all mario files in the player folder with the suitable luigi files
I did it too and it worked

Actually, i don't use DSatm. I just code whatever I want and then I insert it into the ROM using NSMBe. However, I still haven't found a reliable method to do it (that's why i'm constantly changing the code in NSMBe)

When I complete it, i'll probably do some kind of tutorial. You can do really nice things with ASM hacking, but it's very time-consuming, and sometimes very frustrating.

If you modify the sound data, I think, you can get luigi's voice!
probalbly you get luigi's voice, through simply replacing marios files with the luigi ones (Like I have said in the post above ). Probably the luigi files contain a code, which leads to luigi's voice in the sound data of NSMB?

Hmm... I don't think so
All the sounds in NSMB are on the two big SDAT files. And all the stuff in the player folder is just the 3D models, textures and animations.

I dont think Nintendo mixed sound and 3d that way

But, try it anyways. If it doesnt work you'll have to edit the sdat file.

Ok, after my working at this hack i want to show you my small demo of my hack. It's includes only world 1 (without castle level). It could have some bugs so report me about them when you'll find them. Sorry that this hack isn't in xdelta format because i haven't got time to change it (much work at school). I also learned how to make auto scroll level without using already maked level.
Here's download link (i hope it would be long at this site). And i have small request. If somebody can make video wich will show all levels wich are already made it would be great if he could contact with me (at PM).

Levels wich apeared on hack at this moment:
1-1 - Grassland. custom level with small remake from SMB 1-1
1-2 - Koopa Cave. another custom level more remaked includes parts from worlds 1-2 and 4-2 from SMB
1-3 - Dark mushrooms 1. First part of level is classic SMB 1-3 level. Rest is custom
1-T - Climb Tower (or Trap Tower 2 - I don't decide yet). Pretty hard level with firebars and rising lava
1-4 - Evening bridges. Custom level with small parts remaked from SMB 2-3
1-5 (1-As) - First airship level. That's my first auto-scrolling level. This level could be hard because I've made much bullet bills and Bomb-ombs.
1-C - Fire Castle. this level is not made yet. Probably it would be fire castle wich will be mixed of two castles from SMB: 5-4 and 6-4, of course with my custom parts.
1-A - Galaxy Garden. As I said some levels will be remaked from Mega Man series. This one is remaked in graphic aspect (but some tileset are need to change) from NES Mega Man 8 Astro Man stage. There's one bug at end of level when you have to choose correct path. It's small graphic bug when you choose bad one.

Ok, I think that I write enough. Comment, give sugestions. If you want to help me (you have ideas about next levels or you know something more about hacking) send me PM.
And last question: Is it possible to change colours of some models (for ex. change mario white colour when he has fire flower to blue - i wan't to make him looks like he'll have ice flower). If yes how to do that.

That's great. So if you make video you could put at airship level music from NSMBW and at 1-A from MM8 Astro Man stage. And this colours i want to change for luigi

And now I have finished your W-1. There are many bugs.
1. In 1-1 many parts are repaeated. Thats boring. You must do soemthing NEW!
And when you are big and go to the trampolin, you can slide through the pipe. And your slopes have no end tile. So you cant walk the slopes up. You will stop at the last tile. Fix it
With the slopes...It is everywehre in your game ^^
In 1-2 the botoom screen flagpole path dont work correctly.
The Tileset of 1-3 has transparent pixels at the mushroom, which shouldnt be there. In the Tower you can fall through the slopes. And your Airship Level is cool but very difficulty xD It has Tileset bugs, too. And the Flagpole Path does not work correctly. Delete the first one I looked in the editor =D
