I recently purchased Karnov for Famicom. I would be grateful if the text was translated. Thank you.

Leftover Kanji from Crime City

Kanji is used in the intro and on the newspaper screens as subtitles. There's a newspaper in the ending that isn't subtitled, is the Kanji germane to that?

Unused enemy names from the Japanese version of Phantasy Star II. These are blanked out in the English verison. All enemy groups come in threes.

Group 1:

Group 2 (I think I got these, just checking):
(Starfish)
(Spinning Star)
(Sewing Star??)

You definitely got group 2, but the first one is odd (Cicila, Chrisoper, Hemerobi).

I think I translated most of these names right...anyone want to double check? Warning: There's a lot of them.

A full list of enemies (with pictures, which will help) can be found here

Uh, mind linking to the images instead of embedding them? Some of us do not have decent internet speeds and it makes this post hard to view. :|

スニフィラビット Sniffer Rabbit SNF.RBBT RABITGUT

"Sniffy Rabbit" or "Sniffing Rabbit" (note the little i, not little a for it to be "sniffer")

スピニンスフィア Spinning Sphere SPIN.SPH SPINNER

"Spin Sphere", not "Spinning Sphere".

リュンクス <-- not how you usually say "lynx" in Japanese. Best I can get it that a cartoon cat shows up in google. Technically this would be "lunx".

I'm also not sure what any of that has to do with TCRF. This isn't a generic "translate [x] for me" thread, sorry.

Some text on an unused background in Don Doko Don.

Edited version in case the other one is hard to read.

くまがやん - Kumagayan
バカ - Idiot
らくがきするな - Don't do grafitti
ほえほえ - Hoehoe (Bark bark(?))

There's also a spider web (I think) and an umbrella.

More Phantasy Star II stuff. The two unequipped items only have names in the Japanese version. I believe they're "Stone Statue of Tyron" (Odin in the US version of Phantasy Star I), and "Hapsby", which is the name of a robot in PS1.

EDIT: Ignore the use text here. I thought it was unique, but it's just using the Red Card's text as a placeholder.

EDIT 2: There's a name for an unused techniquel in PS2: "リューフェ". It's coded like a support technique. Anyway, how would you romanize that?

This is the kind of thing that usually gets a new name English because it just sounds weird.

I would go with "Ryufé" (with the accent on the 'e') since the original Japanese is a bit unusual and adding the accent mark kinda-sorta preserves some of that uniqueness in English.

"Kyuchaku"

Context: Internal name for a weapon.

This is it, whatever it is:

Best guess I can come up with (and the only hit in my dictionary) is:
"吸着 [きゅうちゃく] n,vs (1) adsorption/attachment/adhesion/sorption"
so maybe just "attachment" from the looks of it?

The two kanji mean, "suck" and "arrive" when taken separately.

That makes sense. Searching for the kanji I found this, so it's probably a sticky grenade: https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%90%B8%E7%9D%80%E5%9C%B0%E9%9B%B7

Thanks!

Anybody want to tackle this series of developer messages in Dezaemon SFC?

(Feel free to ignore the assembly code / memory map in the first message.)
