剣 is "ken", which means sword. It could also be read as "tsurugi" which is specifically a broadsword of sorts, I believe, though the common reading would be "ken"...someone with more fluency can correct me here ![]() edit: bah, not quick enough |

It's right near all the sword graphics, so I guess that one makes sense. |

So I found this old page which talks about a Famicom game called Ganso Saiyuuki: Super Monkey Daibouken. Apparently there's a message hidden in the graphics and apparently it's perverted.
We love perverted hidden messages, right? ![]() Edit: Found a transcription here: デザイナーなかじま かおる。 1960アイチケン トヨカワ市うまれ.26才。… おまんこ.なめてぇーよぅ エッチする女ノ子がほしいチツちゃん、クリちゃん、スキ!スキ! |

Oh wow. Well at least he seems a little more tactful than Y.S. Thanks!
Originally posted by GlitterBerri About this. Well, I know the X68k (or the Sharp X68000 in full) is a somewhat obscure old Japanese computer. I downloaded all the X68k games tagged (Dempa) I could find. It seems they mostly did ports of arcade games - mostly from Namco and Sega. But, including 2-disk games, there's 32 disks to look through. And these games are actually really long when opened up in a hex editor, so it would take a while to look through them all. Buuuuuut I think I found something in a game called Exciting Hour Jusse Oozumou... some sort of message board like thing where the developers share their thoughts on stuff (or as Google Translate puts it, "a melting pot of personalities and passion"). But whatever it is, it's ENORMOUS. And there's probably a lot more where that came from. And no, this isn't a translation request. I'm sure that would take forever. ![]() |

Today is not one of my better days... trying to transcribe some stuff (for pasting into machine translators ![]() ![]() 何もあ ? ません
This is probably some stupid string anybody with knowledge could get (bonus if it's something like a save prompt or "no data") but I can't tell without that missing piece. E: Apparently it's ri for some reason (I always see it as two distinct parts, not one) so blah. Google Translate gives "nothing", which is pretty much what I was expecting. Daaaaaah. |

You're probably thinking of the katakana version of 'ri,' which is indeed drawn with two separate strokes. Though, you might see some brush-stroke renditions of the hiragana version with a break in the top arc of the kana.

Ahh, that makes perfect sense then. In english the two Legion modes are Active and Passive.
Edit: I remembered that I've had quite a few images pulled from Space Griffon's TIM files that are placeholders left in the final game. There's too many to post here but they can be found in this folder on Photobucket. |

Hmm, interesting. I can imagine where some of those scenes would fit into the narrative. The game got a remake on the Dreamcast but it never left Japan and information is extremely limited. |

I found some Japanese characters among the "Choose a game" graphics of SMA2. Seeing as some characters repeat, I assume these are actual strings and not just a font. These characters were spread out into a few pieces and the image below is my attempt at reassembling them based on how they fit together.
![]() Some help would be appreciated. |
