I have no clue how "(シュツグン shutsugun" is supposed to be written in kanji form, but here is a guess as to what the kana is supposed to say.

雑魚敵 発生 - Enemy Outbreak
雑魚敵 出群 する - Enemies are superior
雑魚敵 出群 しない - Enemies aren't superior
無敵 - Invincibility
無敵にする - Be Invincible
無敵にしない - Don't Be Invincible

I lookin' to have the "making of" section translated into english from japanese. The "making of" is an account of how Resident Evil / Biohazard Remake was created.

In total there are 9 sections, one page each. Here is the link to the "making of" section

http://www3.capcom.co.jp/bio/making/index.html

If anyone can translate the text from japanese to english, that would be helpfull.

If I wasn't busy, I'd consider doing it for free, but I have a lot on my plate these days. I do take commissions, however. Shoot me an email if you want to discuss rates.

Thank you. However the site I lookin' to have translated is down - the content pages itself I cannot access.

Also, I went to your website and it says "account suspended". Don't know why that is....

Sorry, apparently the new host forgot to pay the bills. x_X It should be up again in a couple days! What the page used to say:

"I’m now taking Japanese to English translation commissions! Have something lying around that you’ve always wondered about? No matter how big or small it is, I can help!

I am a freelance translator with 6 years of experience. In addition to my 1.5 years spent living in Japan and 8 years of language study, I have worked with a variety of material, from game scripts and dialogue to technical documents and developer correspondence, from magazine interviews and stories to the transcription and translation of video and audio. Through my years of performing translations for a variety of international clients I have acquired excellent communication and writing skills in both Japanese and English, experience working under pressure and with looming deadlines, and an understanding of the importance of fluid and natural translations.

Rates are negotiable, but I charge bargain-barrel prices and will consider working on a pay-what-you-can basis. (After all, I love what I do!)

Feel free to comment on this post or contact me at glitterberri.com@gmail.com with any further questions, I would be happy to provide more information, including a resume or references, upon request."

And yeah, bad timing on the RE page. When I checked it the day after you posted about it, it was still up. Not sure what happened to it!

The site exsisted since 2002 or 2003 - I think capcom is making space and deleting sites promoting thier older games. However it's not a complete loss. Thanks to divingkataetheweirdo for the way-back website, finding the "making of" section that was recently deleted was simple. Of course so I don't loose it again - I made sure that I saved it.

I will shoot you an email when I get the chance.

I think it's We truly thank you for buying this journey, Konami's TMNT2 The Manhattan Project.

It's written very politely.

Some more images from the Silent Hill Trial Disc...and I think that's all the unused images with Japanese text (aside from two maps of Midwich Elementary with Japanese text).

It's a dummy, though, so whatever.

Fragments of a glass bottle litter the floor of the hospital director's room. One of these fragments still has a little bit of liquid!

Some text in Nemo that needs to be translated. Please.

First is found with the big English / High Score font.

Second is found as a tile with the Stage 3 boss's eyes + nose.

Yeah, it's probably Aki. It appears other times in the ROM in both Katakana and English to mark empty spaces.

Thank you for translating!

Could I get a bit of help with this text?

This is from the liner notes for "Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku Toukon ~Matrimelee~/Original Sound Track". The game included four extra characters from Rage of the Dragons. Three of them (Jimmy, Lynn, Elias) can be encountered as opponents in the game, but not the other one (Mr. Jones). The three you can fight have their own song in the game... and judging from the tracklist, Mr. Jones does too, but since you can't reach him, you never get to hear the song.

But the song IS in the soundtrack CD and you can still listen to it in the game via music players or the Universe Bios.

Track 16 - Joy! (Mr. Jones?) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0D0H5amZ_xs (starting at 0:26)
Track 17 - Anger! (Jimmy) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQNfVM-xXJ8
Track 18 - Sorrow! (Lynn) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PxE3owkAFA
Track 19 - Heavy! (Elias) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBvKXPsZQ7w

You can unlock all four characters via a code on the character selection screen, but the characters' theme songs don't play during versus matchups.

I'm hoping this text confirms my theory - that the song went unused because they didn't have time to add Mr. Jones to the opponent roster in the game. Thank you.

[16] ~ [19] Waiting Room Battle Use

These songs were actually made for a different purpose, originally. By that I mean that there are countries where Japanese songs are forbidden, and because we needed other songs for those places, we made these ones for that purpose. In previous installments in the series, the melody and orchestra had separate channels, so we handled that by doing karaoke versions without the melody, but this game used streams, so we weren't able to do the same thing again. However, ???, and due to space issues karaoke versions were impossible, leaving the game what it is today.
There were a lot of space constraints, so the number of songs was few and they weren't very long. Performing these in the arcades, we also encountered the same issues, which is pretty sad to think about... (;_;)

---

Pretty tired, I'll complete the ??? part tomorrow.

Wow, that's even weirder.

The person who wrote the liner notes makes sense, though, I've been adding info on NeoGeo games that have had most if not all Japanese audio removed in Korea. The game has a bunch of songs with lyrics, so they had to have replacements.

The US version has many of the songs switched out for some reason. :\

Thank you.

Need translation for an item (dress) in Forgotten Worlds / Lost Worlds that's only found in the Japanese version. First picture is the item description, second is after you've bought it.
