Ocarina of Time has wind controls as well, but I don't think they're ever used in that game, either. I can't think of any instance in either game when wind comes into effect, unless it has to do with Cucco gliding or something like that. The Wind Waker had the Deku Leaf, but Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time have nothing...

Oh, I suppose there's also Deku Link's ability to glide... but wind doesn't affect him, and I don't think it ever affects Cuccos' trajectories either. They just drift at a set rate to the ground, they don't ride the currents or anything.

I know Ocarina of Time had those fan-like statues in the Shadow Temple and Ganon's Castle, and Majora's Mask had the big ghost Goron on the mountain. Would it be related to those?

The only thing I personally could think of was the flags in the desert in OoT. For some reason it seemed like they might have flapped with changing direction depending on the direction of the sandstorm? But I haven't played that game for a looooong time so I don't clearly remember if those flagpoles even have flags D:

This would be my guess. The wind blows Link's cap, this is what they used to test different values to see how it looks.

Celice: Things that can be changed in a debug menu do not have to be things that you can change in-game. You'll note the other menu allows you to change lighting and fog, as well, even though that's also permanently set (or outside the control of the player, for areas that cycle through day/night).

I've got some text here... See, in TWW, the text normally displayed in Hylian has its own file (bmgresh). I'm just wondering if any of these are unused. I've dumped the script with XDaniel's text viewer program:

It's already got an official English translation, I took the above text from the script dump. I assume it's used. It's usually in Hylian, though, until you get New Game +, I think.

Assuming all of the text matches between the Japanese and English versions, that's all used in New Game+. The first batch belongs to Jabun (during the endless night, when you find him under Outset Island), the next two ("Still... it is too soon" and "I see... And I agree") are Valoo after he torches Ganondorf, the next two ("That garb you wear...", "What is the matter?") are the Deku Tree when it first talks to you, and the last one ("O Hero! Thank you!") is when you kill the boss that was tormenting Valoo.

At last, the Super Aleste had destroyed
the center of the giant Sphere.

At last, the Super Aleste had destroyed
the center of the giant Sphere.
But suddenly, from the back of the cockpit...

Thi took off towards the sky!

Thi took off towards the sky!
She danced through the heavens!

Thi continued towards the Sphere.
What was her intention...?

Entering the Sphere, Thi
was encased within, and
released her ???.

"Now, everything is finished,"
she said.

Enveloped in the light emitted by
the ???, the Sphere flew off
towards the far reaches of space.

Thus, the peace of the planet
was protected by Raz and Thi.

??? = "ishitai". I'm not sure what that is in the context of this game. It could translate to "stone body". Any ideas?

Need some help again. Looking through Mega Twins (Arcade)...need five texts translated.

The first three, I think, are hints for the "Final Key" item that only appears in the Japanese game.

The last two are texts for picking up the key, and for getting the second Dragon Blue Eyes item:

Behold, an attempted translation!

The final key is said to be somewhere.

It is said that the final key can open the Great Demon King's secret treasure box.

The Great Demon King has something important, and I've heard that it's hidden below the throne.

You picked up the last key.

You picked up the second "Dragon Blue Eyes".

2つ目 can be translated as either "2 eyed" or "2nd"; but since you brought it up, I would make more sense to translate it as "2nd". Although, "2nd" can also be "二番( 目 ) (niban-( me ))" or "第二 (daini)", so it's somewhat difficult to decide what translate I should use.

Yeah- the reason I would translate it "second" is because in my experience 2つ目 is used much more often to mean "second" than "2-eyed", and also judging by GoldS's description ("for getting the second Dragon Blue Eyes item").

It seems that, somewhere, there's something called the final key.

You obtained the final key.

You obtained the 2nd Dragon Blue Eyes.

二つ目 or 2つ目 means 2nd. There are lots of different counters in Japanese, so 2番目 (second in line), 2人目 (second person), etc. can all mean second depending on what they're counting. The 目 makes it "second" instead of "2".

第2 means chapter 2, not 2nd chapter.
