Yes, no one has a radio minipic, I checked.

Edit: Well, they do now.

Cool

I knew 2 people IRL with the initials XM.

I still use the same Terra sprite minipic that The Red Snifit made for me when I was new

I always thought satellite radio sucks... get an HD radio (and for even more fun, a shortwave radio) =D

And there's always Internet radio on your iPhone, Blackberry, Droid, whatever too =)

I liked Sirius when my mom had it in her car

Then again, we mostly listened to the "decades" stations, usually '60s on 6, so maybe their other stuff sucks.

XM/Sirius sucks, now. They used to use decent bitrates, but they had to cram shitty sports stations on it without widening the stream bandwidth so the BEST bitrates are 64kbps. And I don't care that it's AAC+, most music sounds dreadful on it.

I used to love listening to Sirius 66 The Beat, when I had their radio through Dish Network...
They changed around a bunch of the channels, though, and what they replaced The Beat with isn't that great.

Ironically, this is the same reason AM's quality sucks. They could have 2-3 really good stations...

Or a lot of crummy ones.

You can guess what happened.

And now they're adopting "HD Radio" on the AM frequencies which will try to cram even more into that space at the expense of analog quality... yaay

AM/FM radio may as well be dead, anyway. They only play top 40 shit, most of the time, with nothing more obscure. There's a station here that claims to be "eclectic" but they still just play a lot of the same stuff, mostly popular music played on the radio. Not that it's all bad, I just have heard it a lot. I'd like them to play stuff that's obscure and a lot of people have probably never heard, but I guess there's stupid licensing crap involved with that, and you only get ratings by playing familiar stuff because that's what idiots will stick to. People suck.

Yeah, the only reason I would ever turn on a radio nowadays is maybe talk radio... and even that's covered in increasingly-longer ad breaks which make it hard to bother with.

The only time I listen to radio is when I'm at work, and I have no other choice. Otherwise, my MP3 player.

I only ever listen to radio when I'm awake at the same time that my dad is about to get up. His radio goes off, then he spends half an hour in bed to wake up. Other than that, I listen to whatever I have on Winamp/EndlessYouTube.

Yeah there are few radio stations worth listening to nowadays, since most radio stations play the same stuff.

I know only sunshine live on FM 102.1 MHz which deviates a lot, and is worth listening to if you're into their music genre.

Also, the occasional time when Radio Moscow on AM 1323 plays Russian music is nice as well.

Wow, horrible puns result in satellite radio bashing. That's an unintended side effect.

I was expecting nausea and vomiting.

What did you expect? It's good we don't have any kind of satellite radio.

Though instead, they try to squeeze everything on FM here, which is not much better, because the radio stations disrupt each other. Out in the country it's not so much a problem, but especially the area here around Frankfurt is notorious for it. Every single FM frequency is used, and because there's still demand, they try to squeeze some more in-between the normal frequencies, which results in a totally garbled mess. It is certainly not fun listening to.

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
