About 2 hours last night and about a half hour of touch ups this morning.

Edit: Updated a few things I noticed.

Cool! I don't know if you've read any of the inheritance trilogy, (or quadrilogy now I guess?) but it reminds me of Eragon's picture of Arya. What program did you use? Just photoshop or something like Corel Painter? I want to learn how to do stuff like this.

Paint Tool SAI, it's all I use. It doesn't have many tools aside from the different brushes, layers and vectoring so it's kinda nice for practicing. People usually convert their .sai files to .psd files and touch them up in Photoshop.

As far as her being from a book, she's not. She's the one who stole my heart.

Oh I knew who who it was. I meant more that it reminded me of the situation. In the book, Eragon is told to create a painting using only magic. It's a very difficult thing to do and no one expects his first painting to look like anything since it takes years and skill to master. What they don't know though is how full of unrequited love Eragon is. Arya is all he can think about. When he's told to created the painting, Arya is standing right there and he's so nervous that he can't even begin to clear his mind. As a result, the painting looks exactly like the image of her that he always sees in his mind. That's what this made me think of. It's your romanticized version of her created from pure emotion. Essentially, it's your mind on paper, which is actually something I wish I could do.

Of course, when Arya saw the painting, it proved that Eragon was head over heels for her, and in response, she smashed the painting and hated him for complicating things He then had to begin the long and arduous process of getting over her and focusing on his true mission in life, so I guess you can relate to that part too.

It helps that Eragon has the power of 10 protagonists.

The only advice I can give is to try and be cleaner with your strokes, I see a few wobbly lines. Other than that, great Job.

As for the wobbly lines... I was crying the entire time doing this, even with the stabilizer on it didn't seem to help.

@BlackNemesis13 You know... that hits closer to home than anything right now...

1. I love the art. I wish I could express things/feelings in a medium like that.

2. Crabbydeff, whatever's going on right now, it sounds like it sucks. I can't imagine anything happening between me and my girl, so I feel so bad for you.
