I see this thread as nothing more then just a thread to wave your "I got a Wii/360" epeener in. I mean, how many of you are going to add any of these guys Wii codes? What would be the point? To message each other? It just seems kind of silly to me. Meh, whatever.

To... play games?

Last I checked each individual game had its own friend code, making this Wii list stupid. However... you can message each other and possibly in future games have these be the ones to play. You never know.

Also, if you add me to your Wii list let me know so I can add you someday when I go to play my Wii again.

I would have to second the "play games" answer.

And if you want to say this is about an "epeener" damn, mine must be huge. I mean, having a Saturn extends it by 7 inches, right? Nifty. As you can tell, I am being sarcastic and yet, I am a bit tick off by some of the comments in here. So what people here have a Wii and/or a 360, what do you care? If you want one, work for one and get it but don't bitch because other people have one and wish to share/play games with each other. Maybe some people here enjoy playing online and wish to play with other people other than the "unknowns" of Xbox live who have to insult people when they lose by saying "do you live in your mom's basement?" Its a nice change really, to play with someone that you've shared a conversation or comment with on a message board.

I think, with Wii codes, the idea is a bit useless -- you have to tell the person you added them anyway, whereas with XB360 it just brings up a "XXXXXXX added you as a friend" thing. More of a problem with the Wii's online bit than anything else.

You could basically turn it into a "Why list AIM/emails in the board profiles?" argument, which makes it very silly indeed.

Though to be honest, it'd probably make more sense for me to just code this into the board system itself, maybe with an option to auto-PM a user saying "XXXXXXXX added you to their friend list" or something if you have a Wii number set. (XB360 makes this obosolete by design)
