| What I always wondered: Did someone tried to fight any of the mini-game bosses of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" like N-Ya, Cameo and Death-13 as characters, which you actually was NOT supossed to play as. It would be an interesting find, if any of the mini-game bosses end up having proper reactions to Alessi's de-aging attacks or other similar oddities. |

| I started poking around Bionic Commando 2009's files (PC version) and I found... a ton of development material. Like, seriously, a ton. Batch files that let you load specific levels, including a sandbox. I've barely scratched the surface on this, but holy crap. Hoooooooooooly crap. There's even a leftover, almost playable, version of BC: Rearmed's hacking minigame! Edit: Did some more tinkering, I can load any playable map, but some don't want to work without specific dev tools running. -------------------- ![]() |

And I just found a ton of leftover graphics in Bionic Commando Rearmed for PC. There's magazine logos, Japanese text, and the Japanese PS3 version's manual! Edit: No, wait. It looks like these logos are used in secret challenge rooms that need button cheat codes to enter. Interesting. Edit 2: The map folder contains data for all these challenge rooms:
Out of these, I found codes for contestwinner, gamesradar, eurogamer, IGN, and nelson. I figure the famitsu ones should be on their website, but my knowledge of Japanese is next to none. Likewise with the Sony one, which seems to be Japanese exclusive... --------------------

| Card Hero is going to be the last Game Boy game before Sylvania Melodies 3 (groans) and the two Gamecube demos. Starting the SGB notes page next Monday. This will be a long process regardless of all otherworldly welcome would-be contributes because, not only do things have to be moved around considerably to accommodate the still indecisive changes to be made there are still things to be added. After that I'm taking a break from the wiki for a few weeks. When am I coming back on IRC? I don't know, I don't feel ready yet. Not when I return to the wiki. More GBA games are coming up and some unfinished SNES things. That is my current status progress log, if you will. -------------------- #1 in Game enhancer codes - GSCentral.org (and news) tcrf.net/User:Nensondubois Youtube.com/user/nensondubois |

| Okay, I figured I would take a quick look at the border system used in Pokemon Trading Card Game for a second time around. From my current understanding, it appears that RAM variables associated with medals obtained determine the border that is sent through the first instance of CHR_TRN. Here is the problem. I beat the game ages ago and I do not recall whether or not certain medal combinations are impossible to achieve. Can anyone help? -------------------- #1 in Game enhancer codes - GSCentral.org (and news) tcrf.net/User:Nensondubois Youtube.com/user/nensondubois |

| Final Fantasy Type-0 has a functional debug menu This member claims they have found access to the game's debug menu, and is willing to share info over PM, if someone wants to bite. Thought I'd share for the curious. |

The Windows 8 games Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Microsoft Minesweeper, Microsoft Mahjong and Taptiles all have the folder DebugModule present in their resources, which contains data for a complete debug menu (even allowing you to turn ads off! ).Also, if you want to find unused content in Metro apps, use this guide to help you out. |

| What the debug dip switch 2-3 ("Arkanoid Type Game") on Puzzle Bobble/Bust-a-Move (Neo-Geo) does: (and I cannot think of any possible reason why it does this) Title screen: ![]() High scores: ![]() Play selection: ![]() Round: ![]() Name Entry: ![]() Interestingly, this is also in the B-System version but... - In the B-System version only most of the graphics exist. There is no way to make the game use them. - This: ![]() This title screen is only present in the B-System version (and it's never used). In the Neo-Geo version it's replaced by the Bust-a-Move title screen. Also, the Bust-a-Move title screen palette is absent in the B-System version, so the palette here is incorrect. Other tidbits: If the game detects an American Neo-Geo, it will always use the standard US Bust-a-Move title screen, regardless of debug dip switch settings. The ending is an extremely truncated version of the Puzzle Bobble ending, with just a static congratulation screen. Not even the credits are shown. The music and sound effect are different (and only present in the Neo-Geo version), and most of them were reused in Bust-a-Move Again. |

Ballistics GBC has a complete Mario sprite set!![]() What is weird is that this is not in the Japanese version, Puzzle Loop. However, there are weird Pinocchio/Mario like faces in other banks. I'm puzzled. EDIT: reupped your image to imgur, the image host you used is wordfiltered for Good Reasons. -Rahan -------------------- #1 in Game enhancer codes - GSCentral.org (and news) tcrf.net/User:Nensondubois Youtube.com/user/nensondubois |

| This Mario sprite set is also present in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. I figure that the developers for the US version copied a ROM bank over to somehow aid the transition over from Japanese, well, I thought this was the case up about until I looked at the dates. The US version was released in 1999 and the Japanese version, Puzzle Loop was released in 2000. Unless, the dumper padded the ROM in some manner accidentally or purposely with the CHR set. This could be a cache problem with an older copier? Speaking of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, there are tons of ''X'' placeholder tiles spread all through the ROM. Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere or not. I'm planning on arranging the tiles for the Ballistic article when I return as well as one final SGB game that has unused music and something else very surprising. Also, I assume that there was a spamming incident with the tinypic domain. -------------------- #1 in Game enhancer codes - GSCentral.org (and news) tcrf.net/User:Nensondubois Youtube.com/user/nensondubois |
