| So, Rock'n Monster!! has a fully, partially incomplete debug menu and a few extra goodies. I wonder about that OBJ_TRN CHR data in Monster Rancher GBC, Poko-Nyan, and Pocket Love 2. |

I've gone through and managed to glitch the game (talking to Darunia with the Goron's tunic already in your inventory means that Darunia won't open the shortcut or the shop for you, ever), so, logically, that's the only spot I would have for them. They still don't appear then, though, when I walked through the shop's barricade with a Gameshark. -------------------- ![]() |

Originally posted by Aeonic Butterfly I think there is a similar line, yes, but not this one. I spoke to all the forestpeople, and it didn't appear. Originally posted by Aeonic Butterfly So that was the problem! I think you buy the Goron Tunic in the shop as a child, so it doesn't even need glitches to do this... |

| How long did the fake DOS prompt remain a mystery?
All of the Super Game Boy sound effects A and B-TYPE are listed in Pro Mahjong Kiwame GB. The only enhanced sound effect that the game uses when clicking on VS game is referenced elsewhere having the pitch/volume bit set to 03 instead of 02 as referenced in the entire packet ordering. Same for the mute 8080 bit also being referenced once again. Wonder what they were testing. |

Does anyone know where this plays in Earthbound, if anywhere? I don't remember this at all. It's a short, non-looping version of Pokey/Porky's theme. -------------------- |

Still need to upload the unused SoundStone Full No Sound variation. 79.52.08.00 0B.A9.E7.9F 01.C0.7E.E8 yep, Marmalid Boy Matches the Kuusou Kagaku Sekai Gulliver Boy - Kuusou Kagaku Puzzle Purittopon!! DATA_SND. Wonder if those two games shared the same SGB devkit. |

| Hey guys, i've did some theorys on the sprites of Super Mario Bros 3 and New Super Mario Bros. and I came up with these:
First off in SMB3, there were unused background graphics depicting walls and a chain and a weird border in the castle levels, since the wall and chain and ladder graphics were in the sprite dump of thee fortress in world 2 I figured they were meant to be backgrounds for that fortressas seen in the left side of the pictures below. As for the castle border, I think it's for the top of that door which leads into the chamber in which princess peach is held in Bowser's Castle, this is also seen below.
In New Super Mario Bros. there were plans that world 4 was going to be an ancient world rather than a forest world, iI think that thanks to some discoveries of unused backgrounds they relate to that ancient world due to the volcano in the sphere below and as for the mock up of my theory.
Hope you like my discoveries so far. |

That SMB3 door border actually makes a lot of sense. How did nobody notice that until now?
As for the rest, though...I'm really not convinced. That first image looks more like a Mega Man boss room than anything you'd see in SMB3. -------------------- |

Super Metroid has a huge tilemap array that starts from 0x60000. It defines tilemaps for most of the intro/menu/beginning of the game-stuff. Among these, there are four unused kinda engrish-y tilemaps:
There's also one unused title screen that's exactly like the final one, but with the "TM" missing. There could be more of these but those are the only ones I found. |

| I was futzing around with some Naomi games since someone at the wiki said that some game files had uncompiled source code, and I found that Capcom Vs SNK 1 has a some leftover text from a character test ... from Marvel Vs Capcom 2. And it also has an unused operator mode password.
I've already added the information to the Wiki. http://tcrf.net/Capcom_vs_SNK:_Millennium_Fight_2000 I also mentioned the location of the data on both available MAME dump sets. Hope that's fine. -------------------- ![]() |

| I just realised something. The unused SGB sound table in Wario Land II and in Pro Mahjong Kiwame GB are nearly identical. Still, there are a load of games to be fully examined in terms of having similar leftover packets.
Pokonyan! Yume no Diabuken has loads of SGB packets and music. I couldn't find any additional borders or any debugging material. There are a few unused jingles, still. |

| There appears to be a hard coded PWT test tournament in the Black and White 2 ROM:
http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?25121-PWT-Download-Tournaments The first post mentions a test tournament tucked away in the Japanese version, but I'm not sure if it's in the US version. I would try to load the test tournament myself, but all DS emulators are crap on my computer. |

| There are several titles inside the VRAM of BS Mario Collection 3 and none of them are linked to the story sequences. Tanks, Pirhana plants, a spade game, among other things. I'm not going to add them because they may be used in other versions of the game. |
