At least you guys started out early. I was 18 and at community college when I started to go online. I mostly hung out in a Yahoo chatroom with a few people.

Its not necessarily a good thing we started younger... just means we got hooked sooner in life.

We got our first computer when I was 9. An old Pentium 486 with a CD rom and Prodigy 56k internet. I wasn't allowed on the internet much, I don't remember going on it regularly until I was 11 in Puerto Rico. I got a Geocities website and from there it was all downhill.

I think I started trying to make a website at around that age as well. Like every other website created by an 11-year-old, it was terrible, but I worked so hard on it and when the counter only seemed to have counted my visits to the page, I realized how much I sucked and gave up until recently when I needed a site to host my comics. Ended up with a Smackjeeves domain.

I stayed away from the big Web hosts even then. My first Web site was on gameroom.com when I was 14.

Well, technically I had a spot on my dad's old Web site when I was 9, about Commodore 64 programming stuff. I was such a nerd, even then

At age 6 I drew pictures in MSPaint on Windows 3.1.

Then when I was 8 years old, I made my first website from scratch, using HTML knowledge I learned from a book about 'HTML 3.0.'

It would be a year later that I would get internet, then a year after that I joined a place called VGF at age 11.

I started going to boards at 12. Around 8 or 9 I was actually toying with ASCII art (which is lost, it was on my 386) and at 11 I started toying with Zelda Classic.

I started doing computer programming at the age of 8, on the old Commodore 64. Basically, I found a book when I was searching my room in boredom looking for something to read or do, and it showed off all these neat things to do with the C64, and eventually it started talking about BASIC programming. I showed my dad some stuff and I think he was the one who said that I was programming the computer.

I first registed on JUl because I was into a fad about video game hacking at the time
I was starting to loose intrest but because this site was unblocked on the school computers, I ended up getting attatched to it instead

Well if either me or Higsby went one post higher...except that wasn't about to happen anytime soon, was it?

Side comment: I do believe this is the highest my JCS score has been...although I could be mistaken. I'll have to check at some point.

Thats something I need more of. Going to bed after 12am and getting up at 6am isn't fun. I'm definitely not an early morning person. Anytime after 7am is fine to wake up.
