Well, if you were to most seats for bigger people, you'd have the reverse problem. And let's face it, 'punishing' thin people is rather unintuitive. I'm not saying that fat people shouldn't be able to have fun, but most of the time it's your own fault if you have to condition.

Might be a message, who knows.

He is hardly a "human blob" (actually very strong), just built thick.

	The threshold is pretty small on some rides. I'm not that overweight and I'd probably be on the brink. I understand its better to be healthy and smaller, but as Xkeeper said, some people are just "big boned" as they call it. They're physical fit and healthy, but still larger than the "average weight" for their height, or they are tall and heavy but still right for their height. I understand from an engineering standpoint that you can't accommodate every body size, but it seems like they don't allow for larger people on purpose sometimes. ____________________

Well, if you can discriminate based on height (vertical size), it normaly shouldn't be much different based on horizontal size. Really.

That's because they understand that the ride wasn't designed for them, and that they could get hurt if they ride it. :|

True.

And I guess it makes sense why people would get upset about the Hogwarts thing: they knew lots of people wouldn't be able to ride it. They even made a test-seat in line because they knew how big of a problem it would be. "Laziness" or "stinginess" to design a ride that would fit larger people (or hell, even an XL seat for every few regular seats) is the problem here, not a safety concern. Or maybe the safety concern too, but that could have been fixed with better ride design.
