Timespinner, a game I kickstarted 4+ years ago came out for backers thus weekend. I uh, spent almost all Sunday playing it.

I made a save file editor for that and gave myself wacky stats. Didn't beat the game, but did annihilate pretty much every achievement. It was a fun project for a while. I'm still waiting on D5PC to come out, because that'll probably be much the same.

As for me, a bit burnt out on Terraria, so I might use the Everdrive GB and play Mario Golf on a real console for a while.

I haven't deleted my save file yet, if that's what you mean.

Mario Golf, sort of? Less playing and more breaking, as we try to figure out how the passwords work.

Well, that and the occasional (large) game of Net. I usually do 20×15 or 25×20. Takes a while to solve, but it's usually pretty straight-forward.

I finished Nier Automata last night. I've got a bit of cleaning up to do and optional content, but I'm not much for completionism nowadays. I am enjoying the gag endings though.

wait... did you make the choice i think you did?!

they worked so hard for you...

Uh, you'll have to be slightly less obtuse for me to answer that question.

This is the type of context I am incredibly bad at.

it's hard to be less obtuse without spoilers

βI finally got a winning (i.e., “final boss defeated”) single run of Enter the Gungeon pretty recently! I've been trying switching from the Marine to the Convict, but I'm having trouble getting used to the Convict playstyle… I've actually been leaning toward maybe going for the Pilot next, because I'm really feeling those lockpicks (+ second active item slot if you're willing to lose them later) and that shop discount…

Still playing Terraria here... Might need to take a break from it soon, as we're basically at the end-game in terms of what's left to do. Still missing a few drops we want, but other than starting over (again) what do you do when you've already done everything?

I heard another Picross game came out on Switch, so maybe that's something to do.

We've been playing Terraria in Expert mode. Turns out that when you have a weapon that gets down to basically one-frame-per-attack, most bosses tend to melt instantly.

So we farmed Golem about 10 times, and there's another 50 Golem batteries if we ever get bored.

Arc the Lad 1 complete!

Everyone's in the 50s (Arc and Tosh are at max level, 60, because of sidequests, namely the Choko and Proving Grounds ones) in preparation for Arc 2.

Pretty meh game, but it's like Soul Blazer to me. It's not that special, but I've played worse. It fits squarely in the inoffensive yet average category. It does what it did just fine, and that's ok. I'd have appreciated more places to grind rather than stick them all in the early game until you reach Zariban. You CAN mostly solo the game as Arc in around 10h if you don't plan to transfer the save to Arc 2, but still.

Tosh is a cutie

Also playing Digimon World: Current partner is Bakemon, wanted Leomon but what're ya gonna do. File City's prosperity at 10.
Wild ARMs: PS1, not Alter Code F. Heading to the Sand River, also beat Chaos.
and Summon Night 1: Not Swordcraft Story. At Chapter 5 of 19. Might restart just to translate the dialogue for myself, I haven't been paying attention to it and that's a shame. Chapters are pretty short (a few story scenes; travelling about Seijent to speak with party members, buying items/armor and grinding in Free Battles; and 1 or 2 mandatory story battles) so it's not a huge issue. Game's fun too. Edos and Leid are shaped like friends

Also still at Mt. Gagazet in Final Fantasy X International, haven't touched that in a while 💦💦

Kinda in the mood to play more SRPGs thanks to SN and Arc, might try Shining Force, Ogre Battle or FF Tactics again soon.

EDIT: Also played Barkley's Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden some weeks back. It was pretty amazing.

Mainly playing random things right now; some very unspecific, some very specific...

Specific: Voltorb Flip in Pokemon SoulSilver, ex. when on the bus or otherwise waiting for something.
Unspecific: Mid-90s to mid-2000s PC games on my newly built Athlon XP machine, like Unreal Tournament 2003.

sands of time is really cool! it may have not aged perfectly, but at the time it was a rad as hell game with what had felt like a slick narrative delivery and a fun fusion soundtrack.
