DJ Hero 2 track list: Link

The DJ Hero soundtrack is pretty sweet though. Daft Punk by themselves would make it boring but mashed up with Beastie Boys? Excellent.

Even the songs I hate got good treatment.

...other than the DJ/Guitar songs. Those were mostly awful, save for Jukebox Hero vs DJ Hero. Glad that is also available just DJ.

I hope they remove guitar from DJ Hero 2. Those songs were painful to play.

Also interview for DJ Hero 2 showcasing some things.

VERY impressed at the visuals.

True, but they're the only two turntable-based rhythm games on the market, which invites comparison, however unwarranted. >>; More like comparing GF/DM to Rock Band: Superficially similar peripherals, totally different execution. That said, I prefer my turntable games to have 7 keys and about a hundred songs I like, as opposed to 3 buttons and tens of songs I like mixed with tens of songs I despise. (Although, I can't get enough of that Ice Ice Baby/Straight Up mashup.)

Also with that said: I'm rather hyped up for the release of DJHero2. :x Game is fun.

VERY EXCITED for DJ Hero 2. The preview on DJ Hero (free DLC for 360/PS3 owners) is pretty interesting for two artists I don't care for (Lady Gaga and deadmau5) and it is fun to play.

...I actually just borrowed DJ Hero from a friend of mine, and I really am enjoying it. I was worried that it wouldn't be getting a sequel, what with the fact that it didn't appear to sell very well. D: Still no IIDX, though.

So I got to play this game this past weekend.

It's fun. It's a fresh look on rhythm games (even if your arm does start to ache a little bit) and the control scheme is actually very easy to get used to. Not to mention some of the mashups are rather... interesting.

I like the fact that you cant fail a song so you can play and keep going to see what lies ahead.

But yeah, definitely a game for people who want to train their multitasking skills... your two hands will not be doing the same thing.

Hardest song, eh? Seems...barely manageable. If that's what to expect on the highest difficulty, then...I might be able to creak something out after a while. (If I get it, seeing how my cash supply is dropping)

That is definitely Expert and it is doable, given I just found out that activating Euphoria autofills your crossfader. Lame.

It is possible to do the crossfader like that but I'm more worried about the stability of the crossfader after doing it a lot.

I hope that's the highest difficulty they're showing there. Because MY MIND couldn't keep up. Eesh. Hard I would probably be able to grasp at least some of what is going on, normal might be doable without missing something. Of course I'll be able to do Easy, but I get the feeling playing the game on that difficulty will make me look bad.

The crossfader better be able to handle this.

I played the demo. While I'm able to 4 star all the songs on Hard (save for the DJ vs Guitar song, which requires the person on the guitar to do good) it is an absolute blast.

Activision: DJ Hero's 'diversity' key in attracting 'Hero' newcomers

Good luck with that.

Already I don't see the appeal of just mixing two tracks together in this fashion, especially with the songs chosen.
