Depends on the site. FTP is still the way to handle Angelfire site management, considering how its infrastructure is rather ancient-ish.

So I haven't really had time to keep up with the latest things and what-not and I've become kind of a program idiot again.

Basically, I want to dump all the files on my old Game Genie Code Oddities site off my Angelfire account onto my lappy here. Is FTP still the thing to do that with, or is there something new and easier that's used for this sort of thing?

Back in the day this would've been trivial as I used FTP, but I'm rustier than an old run-down chain link fence with it to the point where I've completely forgotten how to use it (especially where I haven't had time for a website in years).
