It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

I rewatch old episodes of Sunny all the time. If I need to kill some time, I'll just watch a random Sunny episode off Hulu. I watch Sunny the same way kids in my time would watch a block of Loony Tunes; sure, I've seen ever episode at least a dozen times but it's still entertaining. I do think the show may have jumped the shark with last season's finale, either that or they're preparing to end the show within the next couple of years, but it's still my favorite show on TV.

I'm not sure.

I guess I'd choose between either Star Trek, or Leverage.

Can I not? TV shows scare me. I'm already not watching any.

Assuming it's possible, I'd choose some documentaries or twitch streams.

every time i watch the simpsons i pick up on some new joke or some new perspective on an old joke

plus the tone of the show is like one of very few that i never get fucken bored or tired of

so yeah the simpsons is a good pick here

For me it would most probably be Friends. It's certainly not the best show of all time, but it's one of the few shows that are both long and make me consistently laugh at it.

It's something I feel I could both watch in marathons and a single episode every now and then.

Nobody said anything about having to watch new episodes

i did now, enjoy your bad episodes

My answer is unequivocally Stargate and I can not believe that I am not the first person in this thread to say that

hrmm... if i had the option of only being able to watch nature or social documentaries for the rest of my life id be perfectly content with that. but if i had to pick a specific show then.. maybe the pokemon anime? theres enough episodes and theyre all unserious enough that itd be hard to get bored or annoyed by it really.

Just this episode, on loop, for all eternity

No but seriously I used to watch Battle Athletess Daiundokai all the way through once a year, it's good. Other shows I've liked I find don't always hold up as well the second time through, but I bet I would still enjoy Sailormoon or Major the 6th or 7th time through.

The Simpsons is still at least vaguely entertaining.

It's not explicitly "tune in for this show which is very good" like it was from seasons 3-11 but the newer stuff still gets a chuckle out of me.

I'd go with The Simpsons.

ok but given
  1. Simpsons episodes are bad after Season 9

  2. they'll never stop the Simpsons

JonTron. just kidding, i’d never watch that guy.

honestly, i’d be game to watch an eternal stream of Chinese infomercials.

bumping this thread for anyone who cares. someone is my hero and uploaded and endless stream of commercials from Hong Kong in the 90s so now you can live my dream, too. i'm trying to burn them onto a DVD for my TV to play on loop.

The Wire or The X-Files
Because everything is futile yet mysterious and pointlessly fun.

Frasier would be my first choice. I like to rewatch the entire series every other year or so because it's enjoyable from start to finish. Niles is my favorite character, even more than Frasier. His quips and one liners make every episode and his physical comedy is great.

My other choice would be How It's Made on The Science Channel. I can watch that any time it's on. Seeing things being cut, molded, flattened, assembled, packaged and boxed is cathartic. It helps that the narrator has a pleasing voice. I check every day to see if they have a marathon on that channel which happens a few times a month.

Especially not after what happened. Yeesh.

As for me, I dunno. Definitely something animated, but I'd assume that I'd go insane if I watched only The Simpsons for the rest of my life.

El Chavo del Ocho. It's mostly regional silly humor, but for me it's still fun to watch even now. I guess I like it because of its light-hearted nature compared to shows like The Simpsons. It's got a lot of episodes as well, so it would take a bit of time before I got through them all.

i'd say either Mythbusters or Law & Order: SVU
