It's PC Senior, or "what you get with screen 13 in qbasic" as I remembered it.

The link in that post actually goes to a QBASIC program that I reimplemented-in-PHP; it originated from the Portal 2 ARG.

Old times.

aa i like that font

so i'm having an issue with my layout where the fonts are being rendered ~1px higher in chrome than in firefox (you can notice this on the window title and blockquote attribution)

i have no idea how to solve it...

looks like this has something to do with it

I feel like I'm being left out of this faux-retraux computer layout party.

But that's okay; luckily I had something to fall back on.

...

Of course, this isn't permanent or anything, it's baked into this post. And it'll look REALLY weird if you have auto-updating layouts on (which bypasses the "disable layout" function..!)

Yes, this is good. Very good. I like it.

Yeah, changed it to also use the font in the body. It's... kinda weird to look at this, but also kinda cool. Almost like I'm looking at some sort of bizarro world wide web that's accessed through MultiView or something...?

Also tweaked a few other things here and there, like how quotes are displayed, based on the cmd-like layout RanAS posted above.

It's meant to mimic Mac OS 9, I believe, and the only real difference is our choice of wallpaper.

Well, I tried my hand at a layout, an OS-inspired one at that after seeing you with your Macs and DOSes... I really, really hope I'm not breaking anything somehow!

I've had this layout for a while now, but I've been progressively changing its colors and backgrounds, trying to make it look better. Old versions of this layout had some issues with the colors, font, spacing, etc. I think it looks nice now, but knowing me, I'll proabably think it looks terrible in a few months or so.

The huge amount of layouts styled like old OSs made me remember I still have an old cmd-like layout that I never used because...reasons! If anyone actually wants it, the code is below:

<style>
@import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Cousine');
.cmd2000ly {border-style: solid; border-width: 24px 42px 24px 24px; border-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/Qn2y8Ii.png) 24 42 24 24 fill; min-height: 200px;}
.cmd2001ly {margin: -24px -38px -20px -20px; padding: 0 5px 5px 5px; color: #FFF; font-family: Cousine, 'Lucida Console', monospace;}
.cmd2001ly blockquote {border-left: 1px solid #FFF; padding-left: 3px; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 0;}
.cmd2001ly blockquote>hr {visibility: hidden; border: 0; margin: 2px;}
.cmd2001ly blockquote font:first-child {border-bottom: 1px solid #FFF; font-family: inherit; font-size: 11px;}
.cmd2001ly blockquote>span[style="font-family:monospace;"] {font-family: inherit;}
.cmd2001ly a {color: inherit; font-weight: normal;} .cmd2001ly a:hover {text-decoration: underline;}
.cmd2001ly a::before {content: "🌏";} .cmd2001ly a[href^="https://"]::before, .cmd2001ly a[href^="/"]::before {content: "🔒";}
.cmd2001ly hr {border: 0; height: 1px; background: #FFF;}
.cmd2000ly ::selection {background: #777; color: #999;}
</style><div class="cmd2000ly"><div class="cmd2001ly">
<img src="http://i.imgur.com/Lt5ndaC.png" style="display: block; margin: 0 auto 5px;">

<br>Signature</div></div>

(reminder that you'll have to remove all the line breaks otherwise the layout will glitch on Jul)

Last posts in a thread always seem to be above all other elements, I saw.
