I was just about to ask the same thing, lol.
Anyway, this layout's based on an old theme Elemi did for one of my sites ^^

@Elemi I absolutely love your current layout. Reminds me of Aero.

Edit: Also, about changing the color of links too.

Add a css to the header enclosed in < style > tags then add an id or class of your layout's first div with "a" infront like ".mydiv a { stuff }"!

For quotes just do the same but add "blockquote { stuff }" instead to the style tags just the same!

Glad to help, pm if you have any troubles!

I approve!
If you know to use the min-height then imo you're on the right track!

I tried to backport the layout of my site but it clashed too much, so I just disabled it. I'd like to make an actual layout sometime (not using a generator) but

I've had a real stressed out week so being able to come in here and make small amounts of progress on a cozy post theme has done wonders.

Sure I spent the past hour trying to simply get these Goof Troop tiles to look right in a basic layout but it sure feels good anyway to just be doing HTML for fun.

I've been wondering if I should use my "signature font", Lato on my post layout or if it's just unnecessary extra data that nobody is going to care about anyway.

I've also been wondering how this layout compares to my previous ones, trying to see if I've actually been improving or if I just stayed more-or-less the same throughout the years. Something that I have noticed is that I seem to switch between using blue and green colors, and sometimes colors between both of them, but not much else.

wow, this is prolly the most effort i've put into a layout, uh, ever.

anyways yeah, i made a new layout! it's sort of based on an old HTML experiment with parallax scrolling i did in 2014, but more colorful/better background, frankly. my new layout didn't end up implementing the parallax in exactly the same way, tho, mostly cuz i couldn't get the backgrounds to align with each other.

normally i don't post in this thread when i get a new layout but mostly i just want opinions on if it's distracting, difficult to read, or laggy. i think i got it to a point where i don't think it's too hard to read, but what do you guys think?

Totally okay with me. In fact, I really like how your layout turned out.

What do y'all think about this background image?

TRAINS!

But man, that's a lot of green.

The graphics and command line syntax are from a hobby OS project of mine that one day I will set free upon the world to a resounding "okay, but why?"

e: Ooh. Is there a list of the variables of sorts available for use in post layouts? I've seen some layouts in the past with things like post count, what post number for the user a post is, etc.

e2: never mind, found the relevant file in the github repo.

I would have to politely ask that you don't do this.
